Do not hire for Texas parole! I hired him for my son who was coming up for parole. All he did was cry and whine about his divorce, his dogs, and his broken down car! I should file a complaint with the Texas Bar Association. He did absolutely nothing. He did not do anything he said. He works out of his home! That should be a huge indicator!

Tate “Deadbeat” Saunders is a deadbeat dad who should be in prison. He has four kids and is in arrears on his child support and medical coverage for three years now. His white privileged and being an officer of the courts has afforded him the privilege of the AG’s not going after him fully. His half Mexican and white kids are being raised by their Mexican mother and black stepfather. What’s a a dirtbag loser who believes he deserves a Father’s Day!

when I hired him to represent my son, he met me at a restaurant and should have run out when he was late. I felt he wanted to date me but I'm a tough old bird that give zero fu3%s. he dragged his feet on the case never allowed me to speak with him and DA. So they sentenced my son 2 years. then into his sentence another charge was brought up a misdemeanor, he said he needs $25000 to fight tooth and nail today thank God Almighty, $4000 got cases dismissed. DO NOT WASTE YOUR BREATHE OF HARD EARNED CASH ON THIS BOZO, SHORT FAT WHITE STALE BREAD!

Tate Saunders is an officer of the courts in Texas, a State of Texas bar card holder in good standing (BS), Family Law Attorney, a Child Support Evader and a Deadbeat Dad! The fact that this criminal is allowed to practice law and not be behind bars is “white privilege” at its finest. He has four kids and he refuses to pay child support or provide health insurance since his divorce nearly four years ago. Yet, he believes it’s his right as a white man to not care for his mixed race children. Don’t hire this guy unless you believe his white privilege will transfer over to you…NOT!

Where to begin…
When I was in college over 10 years ago I was pulled over and arrested for possession of a controlled substance (adderall) that I was illegally popping for the week of finals. This was a huge charge little to my knowledge and o was slapped with a felony. My dad and I hired Tate and from the very beginning he was a weasel and a crook. He took our money and then basically vanished. He wouldn’t rerun calls or emails for weeks as I sat in jail. When I finally went to court he showed up late and advised me to take a much longer and much worse sentence than was even recommended by the state. He tried vigorously to convince me to take the harsh sentence but praise God I told him no and that I would speak to the judge directly myself. He warned me that doing this could make it even worse for me but I prayed about it and proceeded. The judge was actually confused that Tate wanted me to take such a harsh sentence and gave me a much lighter sentence that was recommended by the state. It was as if Tate was working for the DA against me. As a first time offender we were all shocked that he wasn’t able to get be a better deal and really confused as to why he didn’t even try. Thankfully I tuned my life around and learned a lesson. However, 12 years later I felt inclined to write this review because I feel I need to warn people out there about this person. He does not care about you or your problems or your family. He cares only for himself and he will screw you around in every way possible.

Hired Tate over 2 years ago and still have no resolution. He refuses to respond to emails, will not call me back, and constantly misses court dates. Now I have been sued because he is incompetent and doesn't do his job. If you want to lose your case and over $100,000.00, hire this attorney.

We retained Tate to represent my husband. In the beginning we paid him a total of $950. My husband decided he wanted to have a jury trial so we paid him a retainer of $2500. Tate kept putting off the case for over 2 years. We could never reach him or get him to return texts or email. We finally threatened to turn in in to the state bar and he set up a court date. Luckily we walked away with him paying a $350 fine. Tate refused to pay that out of the retainer money or to refund any of our money for the jury trial that we never had.

Please do not hire this man. He has a reputation with Judges as incompetent. He never sent me any paperwork. No invoice, no court documents, no contract. He never returns calls for months at a time even. He did not check his email for over a month and temporary visitation orders were signed without my knowledge or his. The police show up at my door saying my x husband is in town to see m son. I had no idea because Tate went on vacation for a month and didn't represent me while my x husband's attorney was busy working. Tate's incompetence almost got me in contempt of court. Don't hire him.

I called Mr. Saunders after calling many other attorneys that charged high hourly rates and couldn't reassure me that there would be a cap on my spending. He was very kind and I was able to get an agreed divorce done very quickly... Thought I would share that this attorney was reasonable.

We hired him for an uncontestant divorce and child support which the courts decided so basically he didnt do nothing and the spouse wouldnt sign the papers and he didnt even know how to handle her to make her sign, he let the spouse run all over him, so we had to pay him more money for a contested divorce, he stopped answering our calls and didnt call us until 3 days before the hearing when we had to drive 5 hours for court joking saying you wanted it right away but considering he never gave us the date and i looked online afterwards it was set in May for July 6 and he called us and told us July 3 smh when it was a bal due he answered our calls but after getting money he doesnt return calls. He also kept in contact with the spouse, he even called her to see if she could make it when everyone knows if the spouses doesnt show it would have went in our favor, it felt like we paid for a divorce for the spouse, as he was in constant contact with her and being he was our lawyer continued to give her legal advice using an excuse of well she doesnt have a lawyer, i feel like he took our money and basically did not do nothing for us. Also he wont even answer our calls as to when we can get the finalized divorce papers in the mail.

I was hesitant at first to obtain the services of Mr. Saunders because of the negative reviews I had read. A friend of mine referred me to him and so I obliged and contacted him regarding my divorce. I was able to get in contact with him and set up an initial consultation right away. He was very helpful and knowledgable and was able to answer all the questions and concerns that I had. I was surprised at the way he handled my case, he was always on top of what was going on, and stayed in great communication with me along the way. He also was very helpful when it came to the different questions I had throughout the process of my divorce. All-in-all I had a good experience with Mr. Saunders, he made my very stressful divorce a little less stressful. I would definitely recommend him.
