Shawn and his team are the best law firm I have ever had the pleasure to work with. He stands up for his clients and will not let the judge or apposing attorneys push you around. I could not have asked for a better man in my corner. Men if you are getting divorced and love your children he will make sure your rights as a father are protected.

The attorney and his staff were very professional and accommodating. His expertise made a difficult situation very simple and understanding His information made it easy to make the right decisions and his fees were very reasonable Thank you Shawn and your staff.

I've been married a couple of times (and divorced) and did NOT have good experiences with lawyers. A friend sent me to Shawn and he restored my faith (ok, somewhat) in lawyers. He was easy to work with and treated me like a person and not just some number. Things went much smoother than I expected (based on my past ones); I'm not surprised (in a good way) very often, but I was with Shawn. Definitely would recommend

I went to see Shawn after I got myself into a little trouble. He was straight up with me - he didn't sugar coat anything but he didn't tell me the world was coming to an end. He had me do some homework that he took to court. He didn't like the DA's first deal and was able to work with them to get me a good deal and after some probation (1/2 unsupervised) the charges were dismissed. Then he worked to get my arrest expunged so I have a clean record. He always answered my emails and made sure I knew what was going on. Hopefully I won't need a criminal lawyer again, but I'd recommend him!!!!

From the very first time that I met with Mr. Vandenberg he was straightforward and professional, which I appreciated. When he said he would do something, it was always done. When he told me he would fight for me, he did. Anytime I may have gotten unreasonable, he got me back on the right path. I don't know how my case would have turned out if he hadn't been representing me. Since I am retired military, I also appreciated that he was also retired military and he knew all of the nuances of military retirement, VA disability and more. On top of being a great lawyer, I found him to be a genuinely good person, which is not something I equate with lawyers!

Shawn always kept me posted about what was going on and returned my calls and emails really quickly. He worked hard to make sure that the outcome of my divorce was fair to me and that all of the little details were taken care of. Hopefully I won't need an attorney again, but if I do, I will definitely call him. I would recommend Shawn to anyone!

Shawn did a great job with my case after my first lawyer messed things up pretty badly. He sat down with me and explained where we needed to go and what needed to be done. He returned my e-mails and calls and kept me informed about what was going on. In the end I got an order with what I'd been looking for. The fact that he's retired military JAG made a big difference with the retirement pay and SBP, I would highly recommend him.
