Hired them A couple years ago because the property management company had cheated me out of an about $8000. I am outside the area so I felt very out of touch as they didn’t reach out to me very often and I would often feel like I had to reach out to them after not hearing from them for a few months at a time I paid them 5000 when I retained them another 5000 and I believe but I’m not sure I paid them a $5000 . I kept getting past the office seemingly to the new guy each time at one point the owner of the law firm I believe his name is Bruce tough handled my case personally and like everyone else who had handled my case he kind of dropped the ball multiple times, and the bills I kept receiving were for the new attorney, who took over, redoing the work that was done by the last guy and the guy before him. I had reached a breaking point, and was ready to write it all off when yet a new attorney named Cortland Pettigrew took my case. He contacted me told me that he understood that it had been mishandled for a very long time and the ball had been dropped multiple times by multiple people he told me that he was gonna handle it pro bono, and get it resolved. He did exactly that , I am happy to leave this review today after receiving a settlement check in the amount of $8500. This is probably what I was cheated out of by the property management company and was able to finally settle with them and get them to pay me what they owed me. I would recommend Cortland Pettigrew to anyone. He gets a five star rating. However, as you can see from the story, I am probably invested 10 or $15,000 to the Tough Law Firm and they accomplished absolutely nothing. They handed my case to a new person at least three times and each time that person would review my case and send me another bill. I would give Tough Law Firm a star rating. If it weren’t for Cortland I would’ve never received any money at all and I would imagine he probably did at least $8500 worth of free unbilled work to get my Matt resolved. If you’re reading this review and you’re in the or Spring Texas area and need an attorney contact Cortland Pettigrew he’s not only an amazing attorney, but he operates by a moral code. That is hard to find you’ll notice that I’ve left a three star review that is because I wish I could give Cortland five stars and the Tough Law Firm one, so I had to average it. I would also like to state That from the minute Cortland took over my case he told me he was going to handle it for free, because he saw how it had gone up to that point. He is a man of his word and excellent attorney, and operates by a Rare code of ethics. Thank you Cortland for stopping the bleeding and making this case go away

I highly recommend the Tough Law Firm. I worked closely with Daniel Armentor, he was great at communicating with me, explaining the process and making sure I understood what was going on & my needs/concerns were met. If I need legal counsel again I will not hesitate to reach out to Mr Armentor & his team, they fought hard for me & I am extremely happy with the outcome.

My wife and I had never had to hire an attorney before being referred to The Tough Law Firm. We had a situation come up super fast and were so lucky to be able to get in with them. We spoke with Bruce over the phone one afternoon and then met with Paula and Jeremy the very next day. At first I was a little concerned that Bruce was not apart of that meeting but after the meeting was over I knew why he felt he did not need to be there. Paula and Jeremy were Great. Jeremy ended up handling things from that point on and what a Bulldog!! This could of cost us a lot of money but because of his approach, and the rest of the team backing him up, it ended up not being bad at all. This was 100% because of their team. If you are in need of an attorney you CAN NOT go wrong with Bruce and his team at The Tough Law Firm. 5 Stars!!!!!
