I came to Bastine w a complex visitation issue w a hostile grandparent. After several bad turns w another attorney, Bastine stepped in and got it dismissed within a few weeks. They are smart, focused and aggressive. I highly recommend them for sticky problems. Nura Baaba handled my case.

I had a family issue that a couple lawyers insisted there was nothing I could do until I found Mrs. Robinson, who came highly recommended from a friend who stated that if anyone can figure it out, she can and she was right! She took control of the situation quickly. She’s not cheap, and she shouldn’t be, and honestly, I would have paid triple to get the results we achieved. If you don’t want to take a chance with your sensitive matter, don’t waste time and money getting bs consultations. She spent an hour and a half with me in our initial consultation asking me questions I hadn’t even thought of and we came up with an effective strategy that she and her staff at Bastine Law Group executed. I will always swear by her and her people.

The Bastine Law firm totally took care of me when my friends and I “allegedly” did something stupid in college and she got it dismissed with nothing on my record. It feels good when your lawyer walks in the courtroom and the other attorneys, bailiffs and court staff all speak to her. Attorney Waddell and her staff at Bastine Law Group always answered and treated me like I was special. Hopefully I won’t have to use them again, but they would definitely be the only call I make.

The entire legal process is uncomfortable from the embarrassment of someone showing up at random locations and serving you papers, to choosing a lawyer, to sitting quietly across from this other person you used to have a good relationship with who’s trying to destroy your character while your lawyer, a stranger, speaks on your behalf and fights for your legal stance, your reputation, your finances, and in my case, my livelihood! I was fortunate enough to have been referred to Attorney Robinson from a friend, and she understood me, my concerns, my family’s concerns, and best of all, I had the best lawyer in the room! She’s honest, professional, and extremely knowledgeable and has a strong staff to back her up. If you’re reading this, you probably don't have the luxury of a personal recommendation like I did, but take my word for it, if you want someone you can trust, who will understand the full picture of your situation, who knows what they’re talking about and will fight for you, look no further, I promise you will have no regrets!

I live in Florida but had a legal issue pertaining to my grandchildren in Texas. After extensive research (referrals, success rate, checking with the state, etc....) for an overly qualified law firm who would fight diligently for my rights, I came to Bastine Law Group and I am so delighted in my decision. By far the worst mistake we made in hiring this firm. If the lawyer we are dealing with now is an example of how this firm operates, they need to close down. My son is in the middle of trying to get his legal rights as a joint conservator for his two boys. This lawyer is obviously on the other party's side of just trying to take the easy way out. My son is set to pay child support and the children's portion of their health and dental insurance. From the beginning he requested to SEE a copy of what she had received from the mother's place of employment showing this information. In the latest draft of the proposed agreement an amount for this was included. The lawyer said the mother's employer paid for her and that she (the attorney) calculated the amount for insurance based on his two children. He still hasn't seen the information from the mother's employer What's the hold up? This has been requested repeatedly..

The Bastine Law Firm is an AWESOME LEGAL PRACTICE led by Ronique Bastine Robinson. I needed a knowledgeable, experienced, caring lawyer to handle my rather complicated divorce. What I got was a team of professionals with those qualities! Mrs. Bastine Robinson is articulate, efficient and result oriented! It was great working with Bastine Law firm for my family law matter! They were attentive, professional, technologically advanced, and everyone in the firm knew me. The communication was superior, and you could always reach someone when you called. I was going through a divorce and wanted custody of the kids. talk about how we got you more than 1/2 of the assets and that your children are with you and will be taken care of financially thru college.

I honestly can't speak for their attorneys in this situation. I contacted this law firm on a recommendation on how to contest or what options I had after an bias custody ruling in court. I never spoke with any attorney but the male clerk who answered the phone was very rude and condescending. He told me for a consultation it would cost me over $1,600.00 and after that they may or may not be able to assist. 2 hours for the lawyer to review my case and 1 hr for consultation. I have spoke to many other family law lboard certified attorneys in the houston area and this by far was the most ridiculous and least understanding of the at least 5others I spoke with. I was willing to pay for a consultation to offer guidance and perhaps retain services but not $1,600 and for them to say at the end they can't assist. If this is the way business is conducted with all then I would look for other more understanding firms
