The attorney is horrible. She sold my brother and myself out on a probate case concerning my dad. Would definitely not recommend this attorney at all.

5 stars does not do this woman justice - if there was a choice for a 10 star recommendation I’d give her that. She is an amazing attorney. She has a calm and confident approach with clients, but don’t let that fool you… she’s a hardcore rock star when it comes to the litigation process. She has a brilliant mind, comprehensive knowledge of the law, strong ethics and is a true advocate for her clients. She is one of the brightest lawyers I’ve ever met. If you are looking for a lawyer - look no more because she is the best. Her reviews were what motivated me to call her, but they were so good I wondered if they were “true reviews” - they were accurate! I consider myself fortunate to have found her and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for legal assistance.

Very rude staff and inhospitable service

My ex husband was trying to take everything from me but Jessica helped me and fought for my rights as a mother and I’m very happy with the out come!! I would definitely hire her again if I ever get re married in the future!!

This lawyer is awesome! She fought tooth and nail to make sure that a man got a fair trial in a family court of law. She helped me make sure my son grows up in a safe, stable environment, and that my ex-wife has to pay dearly for her sins.

I hired Ms. Burkett after interviewing 5 family law attorneys in the Houston, Texas area. Jessica, spoke frankly to me about my current situation, what we needed to do and walked me through the process to adjust my divorce decree due to the death of one of my children. This issue had been hanging over my head for a few years and I was not certain that a resolution was obtainable without having to argue the case in front of a judge. Ms. Burkett did a fantastic job with building the right legal strategy, advising me of what to do and in the end, getting a settlement that was beyond my expectations. Jessica truly cares about her clients and helping them through difficult situations. I was also impressed with her fee structure and billing. I work in Public Accounting and can tell you that she was prudent with her fees and worth every penny of the total bill. Her fees were reasonable, and I had been quoted 3 times her total fees by at least three other attorneys and those attorneys did not think I had much of a chance for a reasonable settlement. I highly recommend Ms. Burkett, especially if your circumstances have changed and need an amendment to your divorce decree.

Let me start off by saying that Jessica is the best attorney we have EVER Hired! She really cares, she is really there to help for the best interest of the children. She was able to restrict my husbands ex from moving all over the place and providing a unsteady home for our children and restricting her to one County/State. She was able to drop his child support payments by 35% based on his income and not by what he used to make. She was always very upfront with us, knew what was best for my husband and the children... Jessica L Burkett a Highly recommended professional a name i still remember in 2018 I hired here in 2010 and she surely got the job done bravo.

Let me start off by saying that Jessica is amazing!! My ex and I went to court for child custody about 10 years ago. We came to an agreement that our son would stay with him, but no child support. Years later, he tried getting child back support with a court order already on in place! Jessica not only got me custody of my son, but completely turned the tables, where he then owed me child support. He never saw a penny from me; which was awesome, because it turns out that he only wanted me to pay him child support because he quit his job and didn't want to work anymore! Bravo Jessica!! I highly recommend her if you need any help with any kind of family issues!
