Terrible!! I retained this law firm $5000 back in Feb 2022…..it’s been a year and a half and still NOTHING. Not even child support or temporary hearing and somehow my balance is $500……..after I paid an additional 1500….NOTHING. So I had to file a child support case on my own through the attorney general so that I can at least get something since they’re asking me to pay another $2500 for mediation. I’m a single mother at this point and they didn’t even bother to set up anything for child support which is desperately needed since I am not receiving much for 2 kids. We haven’t been to court at ALL, no meeting, nothing. Matter of fact, I got an apologetic phone call 11 months AFTER hiring them that the paralegal that was assigned to me was no longer there and that basically we have to start all over since she hadn’t been communicating with me or them. I had been sending emails and getting nothing back for several months. So I believe that’s why my trust went to nothing. I got charged for things that didn’t happen and now they still want more money. They talk a good game during consult, but that’s it. I also got charged another 500 for a motion to withdraw court appearance that I asked NOT to happen and the response was well I needed to speak to the opposing attorney anyways…….for $500!?!! According to the ex, his attorney hasn’t even heard from mine….so now it’s finger pointing. This has been nothing but frustrating and expensive and I’m DONE. You will NOT get any of your money back, even after you replenish the trust, so don’t do it. Don’t expect anything to happen soon, because they’re going to find ways to drag it out and charge more money. So I have wasted 7500 and now have to find another attorney before I waste more…..this is ridiculous. They charge for everything that doesn’t happen. Back in June, I was about to hire another attorney, I regret that I didn’t because once again, he convinced me that this time it’ll work…….nonsense. I just want to warn anyone that is going through a divorce, that it would be best to hire someone else, maybe someone new that actually has time for your case and not as money hungry. Do your research. Every consult is going to sound like an amazing sales pitch. Don’t fall for it. If you have kids, go through the attorney general first, it’s free. They move slow but can’t be any slower than an attorney that you actually paid money to. Good luck to all!

After being under the impression I paid $1,500 to retain the Mr Tisdale and it being the beginning process of everything I was told that I would need to pay another $2,000 to actually get anything. Once I realized this was going to be too much for me I asked for my money back from which I was told I could withdraw at any point since we haven't started anything and it was just to retain Mr Tisdale they told me that it would be mailed in a check. I have not been able to speak with the office manager to find out when the check. I have spoken to multiple different people and they have told me multiple different things. They tell me that they left a message for the office manager yet she is still not contacted me they told me to call whenever she is there and when I do I'm put in hold and hung up on them they proceed to not answer the phone anymore it's very unsettling that I'm having this issue with getting my money back from a lawyers office. I have asked for an email or a document stating that they have refunded it and it is on its way and what date it was sent out they told me that they would provide me with this information and they have you filled every single time I've asked. It's become very concerning to me. I have not wanted to leave for you just because I'm not trying to be ugly or come off rude. There's a single mother who's money is very tight and trusted in this company I feel very taken advantage of.

This firm totally disregarded the CLIENT CONFLICT CHECK. I have in the recent past consulted with The Tisdale Law Firm regarding several legal matters over the past few years. As recent as 2021, I paid for a in person consultation with the firm. I have receipts and time stamped photos, which place me at the law firm office relating to me receiving legal advice/consultation from the firm. Aug. 1, 2023, my husband hired this same legal firm which I previously had consultations with yrs before. My husband filed for divorce. And as of Aug. 2023 this same law firm represents my husband in a divorce case against myself. It is my genuine belief that this is direct conflict of interest. I will make a grievance & ethics complaint with the necessary TX disciplinary Counsel regarding this gross conflict.

Josh Tisdale as a lawyer is kind and helpful, and really cared about me and my case. He reached out and talked with me directly over the phone for almost 45 minutes without charging me a cent about my specific situation. He gave me insight and eased my fears and worries by answering all of my questions, which is why I eventually chose him as my legal representative. I think the lawyer himself is fine, but his paralegals need quite a bit more help in communicating and organizing matters.

Mr Tisdale has been the best lawyer I have dealt with. I lost my partner and my best friend this year. His son evicted me out of the house but Mr Tisdale took care of that, now I can move back into my house. Thank you

We had a rough year with a car wreck, a child support case and the case for social security. So we needed to use their services for several items this year. My wife and I had never used any law services like this in the past and Mr. Tisdale made it a comfortable process. He is very knowledgeable on many items. We will use them again in the future if we ever have any need of a lawyer.
