Buenos días, quiero agradecer infinitamente al equipo del abogado Xavier Chávez por su excelente trabajo para resolver satisfactoriamente el proceso de divorcio por la ley de Texas, mencionando que cuando me comentaron que me tramitaria un divorcio me quedé muy sorprendido porque mi situación con mi pareja era unión libre y no sabía que podía obtener un divorcio. Up to this point, they have been extremely helpful and maintain excellent communication with me, they are very professional. Stephanie Lopez is very attentive and professional; she consistently stays on top of my case. I truly appreciate having her as my representative for my immigration case. I transferred my case from Timothy Hart due to a terrible experience. It would often take months for them to communicate with me whenever I needed assistance or had questions related to my case. Ultimately, I decided to move my case to Xavier Law Firm, and it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made.

I would like to express my dissatisfaction with Xavier Law Firm. While my family member ultimately obtained permanent residency, the overall experience was disappointing due to poor customer service and ineffective communication. Throughout the years my family member was their client, there was a consistent lack of communication. When they called the office to speak with the person handling the case, that person was often unavailable and promised callbacks were rarely fulfilled. Inquiries about the case status were sometimes met with passive-aggressive responses like, "WE'LL call you," or, "WE'LL let you know." Additionally, Xavier Law Firm required my family member to submit two I-485 forms, incurring an extra $4,000 for the second application. This was later deemed unnecessary by the USCIS officer during the interview. The firm stated that my family member's case was closed and needed a new submission, which contradicted the USCIS employee’s information. They also submitted the incorrect I-864 form with the second application, which further delayed the process. When we came into the office to submit the second application, (which again, unnecessary) my family member wanted to file for exemption since I could no longer be their sponsor due to being in school. However, the firm did not send the correct form (I-864W) with the application. Instead, they sent two I-864 forms: they resent the one with me as the sponsor and another with my family member sponsoring themselves, which required the I-864W form that was not included. Consequently, we received a Request for Evidence (RFE) asking for proof of financial support. The law firm requested my tax documents, which were not relevant since I was no longer able to sponsor them. I had to intervene and conduct my own research, ultimately informing them about the I-864W form for exemption. Without my involvement, my family member could have faced delays or complications in their case. Overall, it seemed that the firm did not provide adequate oversight or involvement in the case, as much of the work was handled by legal assistants who may not have had the necessary expertise for such matters. Based on our experience, we do not feel confident in recommending Xavier Law Firm. We are relieved to have completed this process and would advise others to conduct thorough research before choosing a law firm.
