Bottom Line: If you’re seeking a family law attorney, I DO NOT recommend Hardesty Law Office, specifically Lindsay Harrison, to represent you! I strongly recommend going to Pinkerton Law Firm or another law office that demonstrates better communication, organization, and customer service skills. A lackadaisical attitude exists within Hardesty Law Office’s climate and culture, which, from my perspective, prevents them from achieving their clients' rational desired results. As a divorcee, father, and veteran, I sought competent, professional, and timely legal assistance for a family law matter. Lindsay Harrison accepted my case, and I later realized she possessed none of the previously mentioned characteristics. Communication between her and Brittney, Lindsay’s paralegal, was essentially non-existent. Getting them to respond to emails and answer the phone proved very challenging. They regularly missed deadlines set by themselves regarding areas of resolution. I re-sent documents they misplaced, corrected Lindsay's grammatical and spelling errors, and discovered vital missing details that Lindsay left out of essential legal documents. As a client, I paid Lindsay to draft, edit, and submit legal documents for adjudication, and she failed to provide viable solutions to me, her client. I was told my case was complete after mediation. Still, I was later informed by the opposing side of delays because Lindsay had yet to respond to the opposing attorney on multiple attempts, therefore leaving my case unresolved.The lack of communication, organization, and structure cost me thousands of dollars in unjustified charges. Lindsay also charged me for identifying her oversights and fixing them- Essentially doing her job for her. Lindsay also charged me for automated emails (reminders to sign documents) initiated by her office long after the final documents were signed by all parties involved, including a judge. I still receive these automated emails to this day despite asking them to stop them. Ultimately, Lindsay did not seem knowledgeable and did little to nothing to resolve my issues. As the client, I was often my own advocate and found myself pushing Lindsay to take action. Side note- I have proof if the organization challenges what I've posted!
