Thought she was going to be good but she decided she was too busy for my divorce after she accepted my case and when we has been in negotiation. She turned my case over to Ben Larson and he was the most incompetent person in the state of Utah. Amy assured me he was the best. Amy failed me and brushed me off to a complete loser. Cost me a quarter of a million dollars and emotional distress still trying to resolve.

If you know the law and only need representation, she may be okay. I hired her as my divorce lawyer and ended up with the worst decree anyone has ever heard of. I was married 14 years, only got 4 years of alimony even though the divorce was due to him having multiple affairs. When I told her during mediation that I thought I should get more than 4 years of alimony, she told me, "statistically speaking, you'll be remarried within 5 years". I had no education beyond high school and yet was ordered to pay half his doctorate loans off. I tried to hire another lawyer after my decree was finalized, but it was too late. She did not protect, inform, or advocate for me.

I hired Hugie for legal representation. She seemed disinterested in my case and seemed to openly discourage me. After a lot of money and no results, I found another lawyer. My new attorney offered so many good legal options for me, I regret the money and time I wasted on Hugie.
