Jake Cowdin was amazing. He is smart and knows the law inside and out. He kept me updated on my divorce every step of the way. He made sure to be honest with what I should expect and what i deserved. He made sure that i got everything i wanted and that it was fair and in my favor. I hope to never have to use him again. But i will 100% trust that he would take care of me all over again if i need to. If you are in need of a great attorney! Call him! Hands down the best!

Not just another 5 star review: Before committing to and hiring the Cowdin & Gatewood law group, I was afraid that as a Father no matter who I hired to represent me, I was fighting a losing battle and was destined to be taken advantage of by the system, my son's mom and her lawyer, and end up losing a lot of money doing it. Cowdin & Gatewood were the second attorneys I contracted with to represent my case. I originally contracted with a different lawyer in Salt Lake to take on my custody case for equal parent time with my son. Unfortunately, It quickly became clear that my case was not their top priority and critical dates were missed. As a Father fighting for myself in the custody game, I wanted to make sure I was fairly represented. I hired the Cowdin & Gatewood Law Group and immediately noticed a difference in attorney / client attention. This law team is extremely knowledgeable and skilled in family law. They took the time to explain the whole process to me and were quick to lay out my options to help me consider and weigh out the best avenues to take. As different scenarios and options came up throughout the case, they would let me know how opposing council could react to specific actions so we were able to work the best outcome.
