I had the displeasure of dealing with this sketchy company years ago. There is NO way all of these 'positive' reviews are accurate or even real. After a quick glance, a TON of new 5 star reviews came in 4 months ago (November) and they all contain the same premise in their comments. It would not surprise me in the slightest if this company is paying/giving discounts to people/places for leaving a positive review. Make sure you keep ANY piece of documentation provided by the court or the Law office, as the word of the Cullimore's is not to be trusted.

My children rented an apt at The REDWOODS in west valley city. The lease agreement, I believe, was drafted by Cullimore Law.
The management did not provide all pages of the 52 pg lease contract at time of signing. 7 pages were left out. Payments were refused a reciept and at time of move out a copy of payment history was refused.
Throughout the lease, there are paragraphs that are in direct conflict with utah law.
Chelcee, the manager at the redwoods, refused to cooperate with legal requests. Cullimore Law was given details of the evidence, by certified mail, multiple times.
Ultimately a court date was set. My children, in their ignorance, chose to arbitrate with an available attorney instead of presenting the evidence to the judge (big mistake as our case was factual and all evidence in hand).
Mr Cullimore was told about the discrepancies within the REDWOODS contract, the legal boundaries that were in discrepancy and the evidence was there for him to review.
When I called him out, he said, "we don't look at facts, we look at percentages." & refused any corrections. Then, when I told him I would report this behavior to the state bar, he subtly threatened, as he attempted to leave the room, that a "jury trial would cost $6,000.00."
This caused my children to panic and there was no reasoning with them after this. I agreed to pay the $900 settlement and stayed behind to write the check while my kids left for work. Rael, an employee of Cullimore law, took payment and refused to provide a reciept at that time. (She kept saying, "IF your check clears...)
The next day, I emailed and made a phonecall
asking for a reciept of payment. First, I was told I could go to their offices and pick it up. Then I was told they couldn't give me one because I wasn't the actual person listed on the case. (They had no problem taking my payment though) then I was told they couldn't even send me confirmation that they even accepted my check.
My payment was cashed the 19th of Dec. 2 days after the court date.
The dismissal wasn't signed until Feb. 6.
It is my understanding that Cullimore Law offers training classes for their clientele, along with pride in helping to draft Utah housing laws. I'm wondering, if this is true, why don't they adhere to the very laws they help draft? why does a lease contract contradict those laws? Why does Cullimore Law blatantly disregard both those laws and provide their clients with a lease contract for tenants to sign? & why are they offering training for their clients to ignore both the law & the written contract?
It is very evident that persons who value honesty in their business have an extremely high dedication to personal integrity too.
I fear Cullimore Law fails to value either and I would avoid any business dealings. When the "mighty dollar" is more important than truthfulness, avoid that circumstance every time!

Horrible communication. At court we came to an agreement to pay the amount in 4 days and they wouldn't send it in for restitution. I was told that he would type up and email a copy of the agreement to me which never happened. I called them many times just to be transferred from one person to another without being able to even talk to them then it would suddenly hang up. This happened at least three to five times. Shortly after, I had applied for an apartment which I was denied because of an eviction charge. I've tried contacting them again for this reason and same thing happened. Passed around and hung up on. It's very frustrating and I can't help but feel like I was set up for failure from the start since dealing with them.

This law office wrongfully garnishment my wages, and wasted my time and my works.
They were trying to come after me for a bill back in 2015 that I was never apart of, I was never notified about the garnishment only my work was and immediately they started taking my money. When I called there office to explain things I spoke with this lady named
Michelle she was so nasty and rude over the phone to me and basically tried to bully me into paying the bill. Needless to say I brought them to court and they are paying back the money they wrongfully garnished from me.

This is one of the most unethical law firms ever created. They lie and they leave out information. You request information and they refuse to send it. They file phony documents with courts and get things done by unlawful force not by the law. This place should be sued and be put out of business. I would give this place a negative rating if I could. Only reason I gave them one star is because I had too

This place is horrible. I was approved for a payment plan in October 2019 which I made my first payment in office and I set up to call my payments in. I call in the next month (November) to make my payment and I’m told my payment is successful and I will receive an email with confirmation. 2 weeks later I receive an email stating that my payment did not go through so I call this office to see what happened. I state I can now make my December payment but I don’t have a double payment for them. I’m told that’s fine to make my December payment and make up for November in January along with my January payment. I call in today to do so and they proceeded with garnishments two weeks ago, my case is not notated about what was spoken about last time, supposedly the lady I spoke with last time no longer works there either. This is just nuts.
