Our son was accused of a very serious felony. It is the scariest thing I have had to face as a mother. I instantly felt helpless, with no experience in the legal system. We decided to interview lawyers. We met with one in SLC and they were all about how they would crush the prosecutor in trial and how tough they were and what a record they had in defending the really tough cases. They were heavy-hitting. We left the interview anxious and overwhelmed. They never even asked my son about his side. Thankfully, we also interviewed Thomas Weber. Me. Weber, on the other hand, was calm, inquisitive, thoughtful and reassuring. He first asked my son questions to understand his character. He then asked questions to learn about his situation. He listened and listened. He then shared his thoughts and approach. His goal was to keep us from even going to trial. It was like we instantly had someone that we knew would help us. It wasn't about him. It was about my son. We left his office feeling supported and no longer alone in this extremely scary time. After we officially hired Mr. Weber, we got to work right away. Part of the approach he recommended was to hire a third party investigator to gather facts. We worked with Nick; and he was awesome. We are so incredibly thankful for his quick and skillful work. Mr. Weber then managed all the legal filings and communication. He was patient and calm through all of it. We received a call today that the prosecutor who screened the case has declined to prosecute!! We followed Mr. Weber’s advice and the case was stopped before even getting to trial! That was the right goal and the right approach to accomplish the goal. While this false accusation has left us very shaken, we feel blessed to have a great outcome. I had a problem. I was facing life in prison for a woman making faulty accusations about me and when I thought I was going I hired Mr Weber to see if he could help me. He and his team fought to the end and they figured out that the woman was not telling the truth and got all of my charges dismissed and now I can live a free life all because Mr Weber and his entire team. All I can say is thank you so much for giving me back my life and for telling the truth about the situation I was in.
