Joshua Jewkes helped me to get my health insurance company to take me seriously. They had been giving me the run around for over a year on a very expensive claim. Rather than immediately suggesting litigation, Mr. Jewkes reviewed my options, the cost for each option, and how successful they might be. The plan he suggested was very affordable and almost immediately successful. After a year of frustration, my insurance company paid the claim within a few weeks of communicating with Mr. Jewkes. Communication between myself and the law firm was always answered promptly. I fully recommend him and Gordon Law Group!

Do not work with Chad. We have worked with Chad at Davies Allen for the past 3 tax years. We hired him because we have company stocks that were effecting our taxes, needed tax advice and someone more knowledgeable working on our taxes. This last year Chad came to us and told us we owed $150k in taxes due to some stock choices we made (which we attempted to get his advice on). We had to pay this - $150k. Something felt off and I got his tax work audited by other accountants and both concluded the same, Chad made a mistake and even the explanation he gave us to why we owed taxes - was also very incorrect. Chad assured me others at the firm had looked into our taxes and he said there was nothing we could do. After the audit, we actually owed $19k, not $150k and now we are trying to get a refund from the IRS and our life took a drastic turn after having to pay this. We are having all past years taxes he worked on audited as our new accountants are suspicious that those might also have mistakes. We also found out Chad is not a CPA, he is a CFA. You should know this before working with him! I have heard wonderful things about Davies Allen and they came highly recommended, unfortunately we didn’t have that experience and it really effected our lives. I have contacted Brad in hopes he can make things right, as well as make some changes so this doesn’t happen to anyone else. I never heard back from Brad after multiple attempts to contact him. No one at Davies Allen got back to me. I have since then spoken to many other people that have worked with Davies Allen in Heber who left after similar experiences.

I have no regrets of using your service to prepare my 2023 taxes. My only problem was uploading PDFs to the portal which sometimes did not work. But the return was prepared in a timely manner and I am satisfied. I have usually done my own taxes except for special circumstances for 2023 & 2024...so I will likely call on Davies once again when tax season rolls around.
