He was enthusiastic and helpful in his responses, and transparent concerning the difficulties of the labor environment. Spencer Phillips showed me kindness in a time when I had very little certainty. Spencer gave me a map, when I was lost. He told me how to read the map, but never told me to follow him in any-one direction.Spencer gave me a flashlight when life was dark just so I could see clearly the entire picture, and make my own mind up. Spencer never promised me anything, he never used quips like “easy” , “in the bag” or “cut and dry.” Spencer, instead, gave me realistic expectations based on his, seemingly endless, well of knowledge. Spencer, on one of our final calls laid out every bit of information that he had gathered, painted multiple situations and was patient with me. Ultimately, I asked Spencer if you were me what would you do? Suffice it to say, Spencer made the right decision and I am forever grateful for his compassion, conviction, diligence and kindness.
