I reached out to this firm for a free consultation and I had an extremely productive and clarifying conversation with Spencer Phillips about the resources available to me and my coworkers to recover unpaid wages from a seasonal haunted house. Spencer has a clear understanding of federal and state laws, and which laws apply in which situations, including weird exemptions for seasonal gigs. Spencer helped me come to a much clearer understanding of the differences between the Utah Labor Commission and the US Department of Labor so I can reach out to the one that will be the most helpful for my situation (spoiler: it's the Utah Labor Commission!). I especially appreciate that Spencer was willing to schedule a call at a time that was convenient for me.
