I was in a hard spot with a firm that wasn't advocating for me and had already taken a huge chunk of my savings and equity from selling my marital home. I was heartbroken. I sent out a handful of new "contact us online" to different firms in Utah, and Jonathon Porter reached out to me almost instantly and we set up an in-person meeting. Less than a month after retaining Porter Law I already feel I am in better hands. I see the holes that were left open by my previous firm, and where Porter Law is picking up the pieces. They have been more proactive than the large firm I signed with from May - September. I wish I would have started here and saved my heartache and pocketbook from the beginning. Even though my case is not complete, I truly look forward to working with Porter Law to until we are able to close this chapter. 12/26/2024 - UPDATE: From October when I first met with Porter Law I asked if we could get this done by the holidays and today I open up my email to see my divorce is FINAL and everything has concluded. I am so grateful to Porter Law and their diligence and communication that they had with me. My case wasn't rocket science, but felt like so from the other party. Although my Divorce took way longer than I had anticipated, I felt the Law Firm had my back through the whole process. Communication was forthright and timely.

Jonathon helped my husband and I with a gestational agreement as we embark on the journey of surrogacy. He was kind and responded quickly to our questions. I had a serious child sexual abuse case and I had tried to get someone to help me with saving my 3 children 1 boy 2 girls and it was I've if the hardest cases John had mentioned handling and said he's not had a case like mine cube in his office, that made me nervous however we just went into the office and explained our situation they have us some advice and we then took there advice did what they suggested to get a child protective order and then from there he fought to the end and backed the alleged perp into a corner to relinquish all of his rights of our children and he shockingly did. And my husband was able to adopt my children and free them from the hardest time of there life and won our case basically. We are still waiting for the charges against our perpetrator to be filed and give my children justice they deserve but if it wasn't for John Porter and Cassidy my kids would still be in a home where they were definitely not safe and we would still be trying to get someone to listen to us about what was going on in there grandparents/father's home. John Porter may be on the expensive side but he is worth it for the hard work and effort and fight he has as a lawyer to help you win. He's the best lawyer I've met and would recommend his office with Cassidy and the gals that work beside him they are all so amazing an put there heart into there jobs. Truly thankful

Beware here I was told many things that did not happen. He recommended people who hurt more than helped the case. He was never there and always had to be reminded of the case, severely unorganized. He told me it would be 2000 tops and it ended up being alot more and he didnt even finish the case just withdrew! Find anyone else to help you! Not enough people leave real reviews!

I am very pleased with the way Jon has handled my case. I hired him help resolve and fix issues with my divorce, that were not handled correctly from a previous attorney.
