Ken Burton helped me with Divorce and he was great. His paralegal Olivia was great to work with too. They were very patient with all my questions and concerns and great to take the time to help explain things.

I have had a couple attorneys throughout my divorce and custody battle and truly Mike and Janae have gone over and beyond for us. They both are so kind and really care for their clients. They made me feel safe and I knew they’d take care of me and my daughter throughout this process no matter what. I have never felt that way with any other attorney or paralegal I’ve had in the past. Their office manager is amazing also she has always made time to talk to me and listen to my concerns in finding the perfect attorney for me. The front desk staff always so nice with a smile. Nothing but positive from this Law firm !!!! I will forever be grateful for them.

I've never written a review and I've waited months to write this one. I used Brittany Moffitt as my attorney and Heather Jemmett as her paralegal for roughly 8 months. During this 8 months, I had one mediation and one temporary orders hearing and this cost me roughly $17k. They never seemed to be on the same page and everything seemed to be filed at the last minute with factual errors or grammatical errors that made it look like I filed it myself. Brittany failed to question the lack of any real financial documentation in my ex's financial disclosure and failed to question how my ex's realtor expenses shot up 42% last year which dropped her income to be on par with minimum wage. Both of these issues led to an unreasonable amount of spousal support being awarded to my ex in the temporary orders hearing. Nine months later and I'm still fighting to get this adjusted. Since I hired new counsel, I have had a mediation, a contempt hearing, and a hearing on the temp orders and I have spent a fraction of what they charged. Also, the disk given to me with all my documents they supposedly scanned... was blank. I would strongly advise anyone to think twice about using Burton law offices and be prepared to spend $$$$.

Mike did a great job representing me. He listened to all my wishes and helped me come up with a reasonable resolution. He was very knowledgeable and let me know when I wasn’t being logical or I was not compromising but would still fight for my wishes and respect whatever I wanted to do or go for. The divorce process is very long when you have lots of assets or mutual businesses and they give you the same attention and dedication on the first day through the last and beyond. I worked with ken as well on a few issues as a co-counsel regarding my business and they made a great team and I walked away from everything very satisfied with the end results. I hope to never go through another’s divorce however if life takes me that direction I would choose to use them again. Janae was amazing and very understanding. She was empathetic and very approachable but also helped me stay focused and come to my senses when emotions take over. Carlie was always very friendly and welcoming and I had zero billing issues. If you are reading this that means you’re most likely starting your divorce process. Good luck and always remember you’re amazing and you have the right team on your side.

Everyone at the office was nice and always answered my questions back quickly. However my divorce took almost a year, with one delay after another. I was frustrated that we kept having delays that they would not push the other attorney on. I'm glad to finally be divorced, but the process was way too long.

I am very happy with the service i received from Ken Burton at Burton Law Firm. I told Ken that I wanted an attorney who knew family law, was very professional in court, and that would respond to my calls and emails in a timely manner. Ken was all that. I couldn't have been more pleased with how Ken handled my divorce, especially after the last attorney I had. Even after my divorce was finalized, Ken has always taken calls from me and helped when I needed a quick answer. I recommend Burton Law Firm highly!

Costly mistake...

I spent around 20k with these guys. The staff was actually great however my attorney Peter Bracken was not mentally present on my case. To be honest I sat and listened to him talking with the opposing counsel at a court hearing as we waited for the judge for almost 2 hours. It sounded like a job interview and after that it was like he was working for the other team rather than my team. I can't believe the things he talked me into or didn't look out for me in so many ways that is the reason I pay him $200 per hour! I couldn't be more dissapointed. If you want to lose and have a n attorney who doesn't get back to you except if it is to bill you, then here you go. Hire these guys. I have started over now with an attorney who is AWESOME and wish I would have done it sooner. For a simple divorce I am sure these guys are ok. If it is complex with a lot to lose then do yourself a favor and DON"T HIRE THESE GUYS!!!

If you're going to put up a "contact form" on your website for an attorney to get in touch with potential clients, you may actually want to contact potential clients. If you can't even email/call when I send you my info why would I have much faith that you would do so if I actually hired you.
