Do not hire an attorney from this firm unless you are already planning on making a guilty plea. They will do nothing but convince you to plea guilty. Then if you leave a bad review They will clam to not know who you are. I have all the legal docks and receipts to prove that I was a client

Spencer "Benny" Salcido was highly competent and knowledgeable. He helped us with the aftermath of a traffic accident we caused after making a left turn. He advocated for us and we got a better outcome than expected. Recently, sought his help for two misdemeanors. He successfully got me a "Plea in Abeyance." He saved me from a bad record and jail time. Now my case is dismissed. So grateful for Salcido's legal defense!

I have been divorced 3 times , which means I have had a lot of different attorneys represent me in trying to resolve some very difficult issues pertaining to divorce and children. I must say that I was truly blessed to have found Salcido law firm and especially Jon Hogelin who took on my case as my attorney. Prior to meeting with Jon, I felt my other attorneys treated me like a number , and worst my cases as unimportant. I felt Jon treated me like family. But most impressive was his ability to listen and remember what I was telling him and then treat my case like it was for a family member or close friend. Jon reviewed and studied my case immediately in front of me and behind closed doors. I know this to be true because he would tell me things( not discussed between us )that were very important to my case I had forgotten about. Jon also would return my calls “quick” by calling or sending me a email or text which helped me with my anxieties of whether or not things were happening in a timely manner on my case , and also simple updates to my case. He even set a mediation up for me the day before a closing to a four year case he had been working on and still needed to after we left. Don’t get me wrong Jon is a busy attorney, but he has the unique ability to somehow treat u as if you are his only client. In the end he won my case for me (from start to finish in less then 1 month) (prior attorneys were 8 months in and still no resolutions to my case or my anxieties ). Jon was late to most every single hearing with my court hearings for starters. He always had excuses for not being punctual. Jon would set times to meet prior to hearings to prep but could it show up on time. His lack of being punctual in court was the exact same with the lack of communication surrounding the matters in my own case. Example- I would receive documents from the main office via email that require a response from Jon. I would have to make the effort to communicate with Jon and when doing so, he was not timely... in some instances he didn't respond until further follow up from me. I would NOT recommend Jon to represent me or anyone as your attorney. If you are looking for an attorney that doesnt communicate or care about you or your case... he is the right person for the job!
