Paul represented me in the adoption of an infant. I asked Paul McAurthur in an email how to cancel an adoption. Instead of responding to me LDS Family Services reports that his office called them and told them I wanted to disrupt the adoption. He never responded to me until 2 weeks later when I demanded he speak with me as LDS Family Services was requiring us to return our adoptive son to them. He claims he did nothing wrong. He is the worst attorney in the state of Utah.

Jeff Metler took fabulous care of me. I was in an accident in November of 2013, totally not my fault and there were medical bills. He partnered great with my doctor. One consultation, ZERO hassle, and negligible effort on my part. Highly recommended!

I've had a very poor experience with Mr. Metler. As I now know after consulting with other attorneys, he and his staff did not properly explain my choices in dealing with the insurance company. By not presenting me with all of my choices, he in essence pressured me to settle the case prematurely. What's more, in discussing recent changes in my condition, Mr. Metler once again took the side of the insurance company and did not inform me that a proper diagnosis of my newly discovered malady, which could have been caused by the severe whiplash I suffered, should be covered by the insurance. He was also inaccurate in his language, which he admitted, in advising me about the difficulties faced in getting the insurance company to accept responsibility. The next week, he terminated me as a client. Then, when I called his office to request that my client file be sent to my new attorney, they told me it was against Mr. Metler's policy and that I would need to wait until he was available to talk with him about it. So if you want an attorney to deal with the insurance company who will tell you how the insurance company sees things, and convince you to accept the way the insurance company sees things as the best that you can do, and to put his own interests ahead of yours, then Mr. Metler is definitely your guy.

Paul MacArthur helped us with a step-child adoption. His office was great, they were very easy to work with, they have an excellent track record, and were very affordable. They got the job done. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

Working with Paul MacArthur has been by far the most enjoyable experience that I have ever had working with a law firm. Paul is very competent and his staff are very efficient and a delight to work with.
