Never available, dealt primarily with her receptionist. I lost everything thanks to this attorney. I was unable to even recover my personal belongings. I would be surprised if she even remembered me or anything about my case.

K. Barton was the worst decision I made during my divorce. Not only is K. Barton ineffective counsel, she is incompetent. She created a procedural nightmare. She waived my rights to alimony, child support, temporary orders. Now I am paying back child support to a deadbeat dad, and my children were living with me! I cannot undo what she has done. She should be disbarred.

Kara represented me after my ex-husband stopped paying alimony and child support. She is very no-nonsense and got right to work. I was awarded a fair settlement which I know that I would not have gotten if I had not had her help. She is smart and fair and will do her best to keep her cost under control as no one wants to go back to court.

I have had a great experience with BartonWood! Having worked with other firms in the past, a few things that I appreciated from BartonWood is their honestly, straightforwardness, and willingness to get things done in a timely manor. They seem to work as a team instead of individually which makes it very easy to get things done and you feel that they know you on a personal basis. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need.

It's a wonderful experience to have an attorney who truly cares about you as a person, especially when you are going through a terrible situation. Brooke is awesome, she answers your questions quickly. If she doesn't know the answer she finds out and gets back to you. IF you need an attorney who is in your corner for all the right reasons, schedule an appointment!!!! You won't be disappointed.

While i would never wish anyone to go through the pains and trials of divorce, I couldn't ask for better representation from an attorney than i got with Kara. Divorce is very emotional, she helped me through all the Sh@@storms to a resolution that was best for me. I have and will recommend Kara to anyone i care for that has the unfortunate experience of divorce!
