Great lawyers , great staff

Mr.Smoland is an enormous help. He helped me petition for a 402 reduction for 2 A misdemeanors. They were both reduced by two degrees, to 2 class C's! I will qualify for a expungement in 1 year versus 3. Thank you Mr. Smoland! I recommend this guy.

Couple of things to note here, first I feel like these guys did way more than what I paid for and that's very unique for a law firm. Second, they responded promptly and spoke to me in laymen's terms. Finally, they really made me feel like I was their only client. I can't say enough about Smoland Law, but I'm very grateful they were able to help me and that they did such a great job guiding me through the legal process. If you're looking for a lawyer that will actually pay attention to you and return your emails and phone calls, these are the guys!

I had what I would consider a tough case involving BCI and the state. Mr. Smoland took on the case, through all of his hard work was able to not only take them on, but win. It was a great win for me, that would not have been possible without him. I hope for my sake that I wont need him again. If I do I would have no hesitation in retaining him again. He did an outstanding job for me.

Jim Bradshaw is an outstanding lawyer! We had an excellent experience with him. We had just recently fired a well known lawyer who wasn't getting anywhere with our case. We then hired Jim Bradshaw who then turned everything around for us. He got right on it. He had the expertise and knowledge of what needed to be done to prove our innocence. He presented it to the prosecutors and they threw the case out. Because he is so good at what he does he saved as tens of thousands of dollars. Our family has the highest respect for Jim as a person and a lawyer!!!

A Utah trooper seized 100K in cash (after they skimmed a few grand off the top for themselves) and Jim was able to get 90% back in a settlement with the state about 3-4 months later. He could have gotten 100%, but he let me know that Utah would drag their feet for a year knowing that they didn't have a case as Jim had identified some things that invalidated the search (dog hitting on the car with a back window that was cracked open). The entire time Jim was good about answering all my questions, calling me back, keeping me informed during the process, and not misleading me in anyway (sometimes lawyers like to over promise to get you on the hook-not Jim). He was recommended to me by someone who knew attorneys around the area, and I would recommend him to others as well. Overall a great guy and someone you want on your side during a fairly scary experience (huge portion of life savings being seized). Jim knew all the characters involved locally (had dealt with the cop that pulled me over, knew DA, judges, etc.), which can be really important in any type of criminal defense; you can just tell he's a respectable guy, which means the people he has to work with have a higher chance of treating him well. I put the fate of my life savings in his hands, and he came through big time. Great guy, would work with him again and would recommend him to anyone.
