He did a great job. He helped me get off my speeding ticket that would have possible resulted in suspension of my license. Not only did he get it taken off, but my fine was less than it started out being and nothing on my record!!

I hired Jason Schatz because I was facing some serious charges. I was charged with A DUI (second one within a ten year span) and had illegal prescription drugs and two firearms in the vehicle. I was facing the DUI, drug charges and two very serious weapon related charges (felony charges). Restricted person in possession of a firearm and impaired person in possession of a firearm. I’m not exactly sure how he pulled it off because I thought they had me no if ands or buts about it but he somehow pulled it off. In the end I plead guilty to a single charge, impaired driving. No community service, no jail time, a tiny fine (about $1500) and no supervised probation. The only thing that came as a surprise to me was his fee. It was a couple thousand more than basically every other attorney I reached out to but I I would pay it again in a heart beat. Jason was awesome to work with but I don’t want to leave out his paralegal Tasha. She is also awesome and VERY responsive and professional. If you are in trouble and considering hiring an attorney, please give Jason and his team a call. It will be well worth your time and money.

Obviously no one ever wants to find themselves in legal trouble but when it unexpectedly happens to you, you’ll want the best representation you can find. Jason is an excellent lawyer who looked at all aspects of my case to get me the best possible outcome. Recommended to me by a bail bondsman when I got in a jam. Pretty much gave me the straight skinny, that I was looking at jail time given my charge. From the beginning, he gave me a course of action to pursue while he went to work on my defense. Utah's courts can never be accused of being a "rocket docket" but Jason was there whenever a new appearance was required. He managed to get the prosecutor to knock the charge down from 2nd degree felony [ 1-15 years] to 3rd degree felony [0-5 years], for which we took a plea deal. At sentencing, the prosecutor actually spoke in my behalf about my pro-active efforts [recommended by Jason] to correct my problem and after Jason's closing, the judge gave me a suspended sentence, 3 years probation, psychological help [already begun] and no electronic monitoring and no fine. It wasn't cheap by any means, but when one is initially looking at 1-15, pretty much a minimal investment to secure your freedom. Definitely 2 thumbs up on his skills, and this was not a DUI case, which is his specialty.
