Sign retainer then they collect monthly fee as an annuity payment but don’t actually complete any work. Collect clients that they fail to serve. I agree with other posts, begin “nice” but ultimately just ignore. The work she did do was “false.” Did not represent my situation nor what she was told.

Lets just say they will start out nice and like they care about you, but if Just Law isn't going to make money off you, they will just take what they can and delay things. I basically paid 3500 dollars to have them write up a divorce petition, they will nickel and dime you for everything. I got charged $400 to go from Uncontested divorce to Contested, what did they have to do? I had already paid out more then $2000 for the uncontested piece. Then to pay $1500 more for them to copy the paperwork into another template. All I wanted was to get my son half the time but the delays ended up with me not living with him for almost 9 months. I went to another lawyer and the whole thing squared away in less then 2 months and for a lot less money.

Would not recommend. I had an appointment booked. There was a miscommunication and I was charged for missing. No bueno. Thanks for charging me for nothing. Btw zero reminders, and fee was charged without question. 👎👎

Having witnessed the activities of this group on a simple case, but is now, thankfully, in the hands of another practitioner after three years of inaction, lack of correspondence of any kind, and a capitulating outlook on all case aspects. It is unclear if this firm has a caseload balance issue, or if there is a lack of interest on certain cases. Either could effectively describe the handling of the case in question. It was apparent early on in the case that there was little interest in strategy, with every answer along the lines giving into the demands of opposing council at every juncture. The effect on the client was negative and long lasting, as they were often left with missing or unclear instruction or response to valid questions. Attaining assistance was further hindered by an alarming rate of office staff turnover, resulting in inaction through lack of continuity. Promised and scheduled meetings or calls were rarely, if ever executed. Meetings that did occur were unproductive and non assertive, with an apparent mantra that the firm is just present to file paperwork and nothing more. The lack of communication also effected billing. Regular statements, and requests fore statements went unfulfilled for inordinate spans of time. Billing will, however, be expedited after a case is transferred from the firm to another. This firm is not one I would choose if I was seeking even the slightest amicable outcome. Whatever the reason for all of the issues in the handling of the case, it resulted in the additional effort and expense of moving the handling to another law firm.

The team at just law is the best! When you have an attorney it's not just one person its multiple people wanting to help you out on what ever problem comes your way. I would recommend this firm to anyone! Jessica and her team know exactly what to do. If you have a family law issue turn to them first before wasting money at a different law practice.
