Wonderful office staff, very responsive, professional, and knowledgeable in all the legal details. Pricing was fair and accurate, no billing surprises. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is one staff did not manage draft versions of our stipulation well, (sent wrong drafts a few times) which meant I had to spend extra time fixing and doing rework. Overall though the experience was excellent.

Just don’t. When I first spoke with Laura she was fierce and I thought she was just who I needed in my case. For the first few months she kept referring to my son as my daughter. She couldn’t even remember my child. They claim to try to explain fees but anytime I would question it, Laura would give me attitude and then say “we can go hourly if you’d like, it’ll be more expensive.” I paid her $20,000 and she quoted me another $30,000 to finish my child custody case. And I could never get her on the phone. The $300 per month retainer was supposed to be for lawyer briefings and emails yet I rarely heard from her. Then she dropped her cases, including mine and handed me off to another attorney in their office. Then I was handed off again. When I started shopping around I heard from several paralegals that this is common practice with Laura. I did express my frustration with them on several occasions. I hired a lawyer because I did not go to law school. They were not informative, they would not respond quickly and many times I saw billing errors. I had to do my own research on what things I should be documenting. My experience was so bad with just law I decided to continue on my own. I only wish I fired them sooner. It truly felt like Laura was my opposing counsel and had zero interest in my case.
