Scott Ripped me off and stole money from me by charging me for time he didn't even work for me. My contract with him as I requested was that I would draft out the paperwork for a request to modify a divorce decree and he would give me the advice and defend me in court. In our contract, I didn't see that he had put in there that he had the right to withdraw his side of the agreement at any time. While we were still in contract, I called him but he wasn't available so I spoke to his secretary and stated that I wanted to change the contract and hire him to do the paperwork. After this I called again a couple of days later and spoke directly to scott and stated the same thing, that I wanted to have him draft out the paperwork. Once I went to his office a couple of hours later, I asked him the same thing and he stated he had to see if he agreed. I mentioned I wasn't going to be paying for the time I was there and wanted to change the contract. He stated he wanted to see if he agreed wanted to continue to give me advice, ( in other words charge me to talk ) I told him I didn't want to include medical records and that my ex should have to get them on her own, especially since they were fraudulent records and will be proven soon. now i am being billed for hours he didn't even work.

My Ex and her Attorney petitioned for her to be awarded EVERYTHING and, literally, suggested that I should go live in a camp trailer with minimum Parent Time. Scott Wiser represented my case in a very knowledgeable and professional manner. Because of his extensive knowledge and experience, he was able to build an outstanding case and offer direct and realistic advice as to what I could expect. Frankly, he made the opposing counsel look foolish, unreasonable and unprepared. So, divorce isn't fun and I had no idea what I was doing. I just Googled and then called one of the first places that popped up that had good reviews. I was able to meet with someone very quickly and Scott helped me immensely. I honestly had no idea whatsoever on how to hire a lawyer, what it would cost, what this would look like, etc. It ended up going incredibly smoothly, costing a lot less than I expected, and communication was always really great. My divorce took about a month from the day I filed to the day it was finalized, which was way faster than I ever expected. I highly recommend these guys. They're awesome and will just take care of everything for those of us who have no knowledge when it comes to scary legal stuff. Thanks to Wiser and Wiser!

My ex had taken advantage of me for years ...
