After hiring and paying Greg from home equity he was hard to contact and when he made jail visits never brought a notepad. I eventually went pro se and he was assigned as Standby (his wife makes these assignments for the court). When testifying he was to direct "my questions" to me to answer. He didn't ask me a single question of about 18-20 so no defense testimony or evidence was entered! He works for the Prosecutors, NOT you! Be cautious if you need legal services...

This attorney, Mr. Skordas was hired due to a recommendation by a mutual friend. He was very rude, difficult to contact & inappropriate! He was hired to defend my father. Skordas had no respect for his client, telling my father to "shut up" during a hearing. It seems he only cares about high profile cases and publicity. Regardless, he was a terrible attorney in my opinion! So disappointed with his representation!

So sad to have to write a negative review for an attorney. Don’t hire Greg Skordas. All of the negative reviews about him are true, he doesn’t prepare, doesn’t show up and doesn’t care. Now an innocent man has to go to jail because of him.

I had absolutely disgraceful charges that were 100% false, like Kidnapping, witness tampering... the whole kit and caboodle... it was a “TV WORTH” case and still this joke didn’t show up. The $50k I gave him definitely helped his family lol. DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN EVER!!!! HES A CON ARTIST!!!!!! Not even worth the amount of gas I used to drive and get my consultation! What a joke of a human being!

We retained Skordas for a federal case. He talked the talk when we were reviewing the details. Felt very confident heading into the first court visits. It was until we were sitting there in court, expecting him to show up and follow the game plan he come up with. Did he show? Nope. One of his underlings shows up, has no idea what we have discussed or how we would like to proceed, looked like a fool in front of the judge, even to the point of the judge pointing out the lack of preparation. From there on out we co rubies to get the cold shoulder from Skordas saying “it’s just part of the process” or “I’m handling it, working some back channels”. We fired him after he pulled the same stunt a second time after promising he would be attending the court hearing. Worst money ever spent. Skordas the snake. Beware, he’ll do a great job of reeling you in to believing he can help and is the perfect man for the job. Unless your case is high profile enough and he’ll get some camera time or an interview from it, expect to not see him after payment is made.

Greg was honest with us and did his job efficiently and gave my 17 year old son (at the time) great advice after he found errors in the prosecution's case that allowed my son to get less time than, if I'm being honest, he deserved. He did his job accurately, timely, and at the end of the day my son did a little time but not what the prosecutors were proposing due to errors on their part. He held everyone accountable, including my kid. I'd hire him again. (I wrote this review after watching the AG Debate on Oct. 21, 2020 and in response to the incumbent bringing up bad reviews in the AG race. We were actual clients of Greg Skordas.)

I consulted then hired Mr. Skordas to defend my husband on 2 criminal cases. After failing to show up to the first court date I fired him and found a new lawyer. My dealings with Mr. Skordas left me with the impression that he didn't like to be bothered by his clients and I felt he was annoyed by my questions and need to be informed. He did refund the money I paid to him in a timely manner. I found his demeanor to be abrasive and harsh.

A decade ago, I got into some trouble and hired a cheap lawyer who proposed an illegal plea bargain. I didn't know it and agreed to it, but when it was discovered, we fired him and hired Greg. He was a lifesaver. I was looking at 5-15 years per offense, but he got it down to 39 days! Looking back, hiring Greg was one of the best decisions I've ever made!

He did want he wanted to do, rather it hurt your case. He showed up to one court date, other ones he sent someone else from the firm to represent me. I was never told anything that was going to happen. I ended up firing him and going to a different firm. I had so much faith in him and he let me down. This was my first offense and he wasn't there for me.

I don't know how this man stays in business. He didn't do any work. Shows up late to meetings and didn't inform me about hearings.

I hired Mr. Skordas after hearing some false advertising say how great of an attorney he was. All he did was pocket my money and never hardly lifted a finger to do what he was paid to do. It was almost impossible to get 15 minutes of his time and after only talking to his just graduated attorneys in training I was scared that Skordas didn’t even understand my case. After trying several times he actually met with me and because I have received so little attention I over explained my case trying to make sure he was up to speed. After on 5 or 6 minutes of me explaining what I knew that would help him he actually told me I talked to much. I learned quickly that he is only interested in hearing his own voice. I should have just represented myself because he did absolutely nothing for me. If your case is going to draw media attention and cameras he will probably treat you much better because the man loves the spotlight. 1/4 Star Rating for Mr. Skrodome! It’s important to note that I would not spend all this time writing this review if it wasn’t true.

I hired Greg and his firm. Greg took my case and lied to me about my options in the case. He pronounced me guilty without even reviewing the points In my case that proved my innocence. He finally boxed me in to accept a plea deal for doing nothing wrong. I was screwed over by this man and his firm. He lied to my face and misled me into accepting a deal that has caused me major financial losses and ruined my reputation when all facts of what transpired in my case was all publicly available to show that I was innocent. Sad thing is that I was actually a victim of just being a good person to greedy people who just wanted to destroy my company and take advantage of me. Now I sit with a horrible plea deal that has destroyed me. Never hire him or his firm.
