Don't know who these Brian Matt and Deven people are, but it matters not. Lauren Shultz can be found here. 4.5 years of high-conflict divorce hell. Who knows, maybe someday AI will create the perfect lawyer. Until then, Lauren is about as close as it gets. At least 2x more thorough, organized, and responsive than whoever's on the other side of the courtroom. She advocates for her clients but also keeps you in check to make sure you're being productive and reasonable vs vindictive and revenge-y. IMO her tendency towards the high road is probably the single most woefully undervalued trait in a lawyer. As far as I'm concerned, Lauren is really more of a benevolent superhero than a lawyer.

Matt Wadsworth did an excellent job on my case. He picked up halfway through the process as my previous attorney had to excuse themselves and promptly took action and won my case. I was glad I had Matt on my side, the opposition was not nearly as well represented.

About 5 years ago, I consulted with Coggins about my impending divorce. He had a very glib affect, talking mostly about himself and about his troubles with the IRS. After asking some basic questions, he plopped down a stack of papers for me to complete and shoveled me out the door. I left feeling more overwhelmed than when I arrived. I felt I had no idea what was going to happen next which indicates that his communication insufficient at best. As general life advice: listen to your gut during an attorney consultation. In my situation, Coggins had a very strong presence and I had to remind myself that I am interviewing him, not the other way around. Be sure to meet with several attorneys so you can find the right fit and don't settle for just anyone. I did not retain him because he was not the right fit for me and I have no regrets about that choice.

I switched to Matt Wadsworth and it was the best decision I made. He helped me navigate a difficult and exhausting mediation. Matt remained calm and focused on advocating for my rights while creatively seeking a resolution to prevent my case from going to court. He listened and understood the complexities of my case and was able to work out a great outcome regarding what was important to me and best for my family. With Matt representing me, I was able to attend mediation confidently. Matt is mindful of the children in divorce cases and advocated for their best interests as well. I have no hesitation recommending Matt Wadsworth to anyone seeking representation.

I cannot stress enough how important finding the right legal representation is. Working with Matt Wadsworth has been an absolute godsend for my case.
