Our family had problems with a member of the family so we called Clayton Simms. He called us back immediately and said he would call and find out what was going on. Clayton immediately took the case over and did the best he could and got us a better outcome then we had imagined possible. It took some time but he kept us in touch with the situation at all times and when we had questions he was right on top of it. Clayton has helped my son out numerous times and always keeps me informed of activities. It feels good since I am in Texas and he is in Utah, slowly learning to control himself. I wish that there were the option to have 0 stars or a negative 5, if there were I would have I hired Clayton to represent my Son. At first it seemed like he was going to work hard on our case, but as time went I was the one that had to call him to see what was going on. He was late for two of our court appearances. The second time he was 40 min late and the Judge was so mad that it put us in a really bad position. He was not prepared for our hearing that day, and was making up questions as he was going. I paid him a lot of money and he did very little. I asked him for a refund because he had done so very Little, and what he did do he did poorly. He did not refund any of what I paid him. I have now had to go and pay another Attorney to take over the case. Do not hire Clayton for more than a traffic ticket, you won't get your money's worth. -5 stars!

Outstanding attorney. I faced a charge that should have never made its way through the criminal justice system. Clayton from the outset demonstrated sympathy, empathy, and candor. We appeared together at the arraignment. Clayton spoke with the prosecutor and after quickly reviewing the facts, the prosecutor knew the case was untenable. He agreed to dismiss the charge. Having Clayton in my corner made the difference. His reputation as an attorney who fights for his clients ended the battle before a single shot was fired.
