Chris is one of the most unprofessional attorneys I have ever met. Any meeting with him, he was constantly on his phone. He gave advice to opposing counsel and lied about the things we were allowed to do during a divorce remediation. We felt forced to almost sign something that we would have regretted. Thankfully, we fired Chris and sought new counsel. With our new counsel we were able to get out of what Chris was trying to pressure us into and actually got things done properly without him. If you’re looking for an attorney who isn’t invested in your case and just wants to “get the job done” as quickly as possible, this is a good law firm for you.

False advertisement doesn’t do civil rights

I don't really have the right words to convey my gratitude to the fine staff at Wharton O'brien. I think it is often easy to forget how life changing interactions with the courts can be - when its your desk job - but I don't get that feeling when speaking to Chris Wharton, or his paralegals Chandler and Ashley. The Kindness, compassion, and diligence they have shown during my time with them speaks volumes to their work and character. The only thing I can think to say is: Thank you!

Incredible work all around. Chris and his law office were instrumental in navigating my divorce, which was wrought with plenty of mental work. His approach to law was educational and effective. His abilities in the court room were respected and clear. His ability to parse through the meaningful items vs the “noise” of two divorcees in conflict was extremely helpful. If the time called for it, I will absolutely use him again and let others know about him. Call him for a consult!
