I came to Jill over two years ago in despair, fear, and sadness during the most vulnerable part of my life. The moment I talked to Jill she made me feel heard, cared for, and protected. Let me tell you that I talked to four more attorneys and no one made me feel as cared for and heard despite my financial situation. The moment Jill said I needed a protective order to keep me and my children safe, I knew from that moment, and with no doubt in my heart, that I was taken care of. When I first met with Jill, my marriage had taken a scary turn. I had no idea what to do. All I knew was that I needed a lawyer, and I needed a good one. So many other friends and attorneys told me that I would have to settle with little custody in Utah because I'm a dad. For good dads that want to be a big part of their kids' lives this can be hard hear. Jill and her firm were outstanding in my case. She looked at the facts of the case and genuinely cared about what happened to my kids and I. I had a lot of anxiety, as a father, but Jill was able to assure me that getting physical custody of my kids was feasible. We never went to trial. Ended up handling everything in mediation and Jill was ready and able to strike the most fair deal possible. The initial divorce is final, but I continue to retain her as my counsel, in order to try to get some more resolution on my case. Jill has been incredible and responsive to the custody needs of this particular father. I'm glad that she was on my side.
