First of all I wanna thank you whoever leave their comments on their website they have. I am thanking them, there is two reasons.1 because it’s given me positive energy and motivations. 2. It’s given lawyers power over their hard works they do, motivate them to work more better. Three years ago I got separated from my ex and we had child together. I went so many places and meet different lawyers, before I met this amazing lady ally I had two different lawyers, one was he cared about money too much. Other one she did whatever she can but I was not happy and she withdraw my case. I started searching online and I googled best attorney in Utah. It’s full many. I saw this place where everyone was Eric is awesome and I decided I will go with this place. I called make appointment with them. I met ally and Erica. That day was my best decision I did. They way Erica was talking and ally was making notes whatever I was expressing it. It’s was beautifully they handled my case. Yesterday(10-30-2023)was my final trial. And we get whatever we were saying courts. I’m very thankful to ally and this all people who give reviews. Thank you all the team and ally and Eric.. I love you guys. Eric has been my attorney for TWO different child custody cases for quite some time now! Our very first phone call involved a lot of tears on my end and before he even knew if he’d be able to help me - his empathy made a huge impact on my confidence. When I see 5 start reviews, I question why the experience I had with Eric Swinyard was so different. My divorce was long and drawn out so I worked with Eric for several years. At first Eric was very responsive , usually responding in a day or two but after about a year of working with him, he would take a week or more to respond to emails/calls and sometimes never responded to me at all. When my divorce trial date was a few weeks away, Eric told me we would meet to discuss the details of my case several times before trial, then a few days before my trial, I call him to him to schedule a time because he didn’t respond to my emails (his preferred method of contact). We met for about an hour and that was the only meeting we had. I tried to provide Eric with receipts for things my ex never paid me for but was supposed to.Eric didn’t want to take the time to deal with it, to have them added it as evidence binder for the judge. On the day of my trial Eric forgot to bring up issues that we had spoken about, resulting in me getting significantly less money than I should have. I am very dissatisfied with Eric Swinyard and would not recommend him to anymore unless you are well off. Ladies if you got the short end of stick when you left your ex husband and separated from your ex with very little money, Eric is NOT the lawyer for you. He will not care about your case. If he represents you and you are experiencing similar issues, I highly suggest you find another lawyer ASAP.. Do not make the same mistake I did.
