Judson T Pitts was hired by us to work on a Federal fraud case. We were a step away from trial and had competency issues with the previous lawyer. Judson T Pitts agreed to represent us in court. Judson T Pitts thought he was going to represent us for just a motion to dismiss. Although we thought we attained him as our legal council for the trial and put down $XXX.XX for a retainer. The Judge without our input whatsoever told Judson T Pitts he had to represent us through the trial as he has taken on the task as our legal council. The defendants council offered Judson T Pitts cash money to get us to settle. Judson T Pitts accidentally sent us the email with the cash offer stating they would pay him $XXX.XX to get us to settle. We have aggressive emails showing he indeed tried to get us to settle. Judson T. Pitts also had my sister take time off work with no compensation for time off or travel to go to another county for a deposition. Even though the case is in our county and not the County he had us do the Deposition in. Guess who paid for Judson T Pitts time and travel to the other county for the Deposition. After Judson T Pitts closed our side of the trial so we couldn't input any more facts Judson T Pitts left us as our council stating we lost trust in each other, and this is before the case was closed, and the final judgment was made. The defendant was still able to input facts as they hadn't closed yet. The Trial wasn't over yet. We sent documents to the Judge prior to trial which Judson T Pitts used to recuse our Judge. So we got a new Judge just prior to Trial. We didn't want to lose our Judge as he already knew everything about the case. Before the recuse we were going ahead with a jury trial, but after the recuse it was changed to a judge trial. I wish I could tell you everything else, but it's all hearsay. Everything written here is verifiable. Please be cautious of Judson T Pitts as your legal council.
