James P. Mcgarvey was absolutely amazing in keeping me calm during one of the most stressful times of my life. Divorce is never fun, but having James on your side is something you can’t put a price tag on. I will never use ANY other attorney.

I hired James couple years ago to help me to finalized my daughter’s custody. He was very helpful and professional. I had so many questions and he was always willing address my concerns. It’s so hard to find an attorney that wants to invest time in their clients and James made things easier by making himself available to talk to me and guide me through the process. I would recomend his services to any of my friends and family.

I had been fighting a custody battle for 3 years. Honestly I was getting to the point where I wanted to give up then James P. McGarvey was recommended to me by a family friend. After hardly seeing my daughter for those 3 years James came in and settled everything quickly and now instead of just visitation I am now getting some percentage of custody for my daughter. The time I lost with her I will never get back but thanks to James I will now be able to make so memories with her instead of spending only 2 hours with her on every other Saturday and Sunday. I can't possibly thank him enough and just thinking about everything he has done for me makes me tear up. If anyone I knew needed help I would definitely send them to James without a second thought. After everything he has done for my family and I without a doubt in my mind I fully welcome James into our family wholeheartedly.

James is currently working on a custody case for our family. Dealing with the judicial system is a long and often times painful and frustrating process and I am not a patient person. Thank goodness for attorneys like James. While his extensive knowledge and experience in family law are necessary James has something extra, an extremely high EQ (Emotional Quotient). He connects with the families he represents and the courts. He is concerned for everyone involved, and especially the children! Waiting is so hard...but having James on our side instills confidence he will bring our case to a successful conclusion. You won't find a better family attorney in the entire state of Utah. James is worth his weight in gold!
