Andrew Delaney is what all attorneys should aspire to be. Compassionate, highly intelligent, and always responsive.

I can’t recommend Andrew Delaney highly enough! He is not just an exceptional attorney but an amazing human being. His knowledge of personal injury law is flawless, and I am eternally grateful for his expertise and aplomb in settling my case. It takes a great strategist to negotiate with insurance companies, but more than that, it requires integrity. Andy is a straight shooter through and through. He is the most responsive lawyer I’ve ever worked with, gets back to you immediately, listens to all your concerns, and explains things in plain English. The bottom line is that Andy really cares about his clients, gets to know you personally, and has a great sense of humor, which goes a long way when you are injured and suffering. I’d hire him again in a heartbeat.

I contacted Andrew's firm blindly, with a very specific and international request, thinking I would probably get nothing back. Andrew picked up my request, and took the time to help me find several lawyers to contact in Italy. Yup, Italy. Without ever meeting me or getting my business, Thank you again Andrew!

Andrew filled in for us when our regular attorney couldn't help us on the date of our small claims hearing. As the date of the hearing approached, I realized that I was too uncomfortable with the idea of going to court and asked Andrew if he could switch gears and help us settle instead. Despite the fact that he was amidst working on another trial, he was amenable to shifting gears last minute. He worked after regular hours to negotiate a settlement that was exactly the amount I was willing to pay to avoid the process of court. He transcended discussions of blame/right vs. wrong and just talked money. This was exactly the strategy that was needed and we were able to settle for less than the cost of going to trial. He seemed to intuitively understand the psyche of our accuser and how to handle him to procure our desired outcome. If you want a savvy, strategically-minded attorney who is also empathic and caring, I would absolutely tell you to hire Andrew Delaney.

I met Andrew through a chance meeting more than 10 years ago. I had a complex legal issue at the time and he successfully assisted me where other lawyers had turned me away. Since then, my family and I have hired Andy in two additional legal actions: One involved a family court issue with my neurotic ex-wife (and her highly litigious lawyer) that Andy successfully defused without having to go to court. (thankfully because going to court is expensive). The other action involved a car crash caused by the other drive that severely injured my wife. Andy negotiated the max amount of money that the other driver's insurance company could legally pay. Andy also negotiated a significant reduction in what was owed to the medical insurance people too. This allowed her to keep most of the settlement money for her injuries. In my experience, most lawyers are anxious to take legal matters to court because that's where they make most of their money, not Andy. He is always conscious of his client's finances first. He is truly a master negotiator and views using the court system as a last resort and only if the opposing party is acting unreasonable. I can't recommend him highly enough. If I had anything negative to say about Andy it's about the way he dresses. I can't say that I have ever seen him in anything other than a three-piece suit. It may be overkill for little ole' Vermont. But if you're only gripe with your lawyer is that he dresses too nice, you know you have a GREAT lawyer!

I had an entertainment contract matter that needed review. Andrew gave me an informed, professional consultation in a timely manner, and indicated some points in the document that I needed to take another look at. Highly recommended.

This easily could also have been titled, "Went above and beyond"! I called to make an appointment with Mr. Martin, whom I spoke to once for 30 minutes. Andrew Delaney had answered the phone as the receptionist had left for the day. After just a few minutes of speaking with Andrew, found I had shared my situation and he was very helpful towards the next steps I should take. My experience with Andrew Delaney is 100% positive. My interactions with him confirm that all the lawyer jokes are false. I found him to be a man of integrity, humor, and compassion. Attorney Delaney has a clear sense that almost no one who requires an attorney desires to be in that position. He understands the stress involved for the client and is sensitive to it. He answered all my questions completely and thoroughly and ensured that I felt satisfied. He is the one of the few lawyers I know who truly listened and heard.

A few months ago, I received a cease and desist letter from a large law firm. I knew that they didn't have a valid legal claim, so I tried to find myself a good lawyer. Unfortunately, all the lawyers I came across didn't seem to know if I was in legal jeopardy or not, and just wanted to file a case and charge me a bunch of money. Finally, I came across Andrew B. Delany. He instantly explained that the cease-and-desist was without merit (why didn't the other lawyers know this??), drafted some great letters back to the law-firm that sent the cease-and-desist (they didn't respond initially, so he had to keep sending them letters), and resolved the whole thing at minimal cost and hassle. If you are a small website owner, and you are being harassed by lawyers who assume that they can use the law to bully you, I can't recommend Andrew B. Delaney highly enough.
