I have had the pleasure of a close working relationship with Dennis Shillen for close to 15 years. What I have discovered is that Dennis is a man that highly values his family, his community, and of course the clients that he serves. He has donated his personal time to coaching children in sports, scouting, and sitting on the advisory boards of numerous non-profit organizations. I have been involved with a number of television PSA's (public service announcements) covering a wide variety of subjects including driving under the influence, distracted driving, school bus safety, and gun safety in the home. He is passionate with his defense of the injured, as well as the causes he believes so deeply in. I consider Dennis Shillen to not only be a business associate, but more importantly a friend.

During December I spent time working with Dennis Shillen on a food drive for the Woodstock Community Food Shelf. Of course there were glitches, a snow storm, delivery truck problems to name only two. Dennis was able to coordinate with Channel 22 and Hannafords in Rutland to make everything go smoothly. The next day 1000 pounds of food was delivered right to our door. I think this kind of dedication to local causes and expertise in solving problems would translate well to working on a legal cases.
