Good food and great atmosphere. Please locals don’t get on here and complain about prices… this is a local venue not a huge chain that buys in bulk.

Took my mom to the rooftop bar for a cocktail after some sightseeing in Abingdon. They offer comfortable lounge seating by fire pits for those not wanting to eat. The rooftop views during peak fall are gorgeous. The bartender made my mom's favorite cocktail perfectly, the service was super friendly, and they have a great wine selection. I will be back!

Maybe my expectations are high because I'm am Atlanta girl, but had great hopes for this spot. First, sign in elevator warning of short staff and deck closed due to earlier rain... Table for 2...very very small table Took a minute before waitress came to table but she was wonderful and service was good considering warning. Atmosphere nice...raw wood and white paint . Unfortunately, menu pretentious with very over priced items. It was no surprise to see so many people ordering the $13 burger option. We had filet and salmon Filet highly seasoned with salt, came out cooked more medium than medium rare as ordered, but otherwise good. Salmon...the bacon horseradish topping had zero flavor which was a bit disappointing, salmon fishy and rice with raw carrots and onions..over all zero flavor dish. Split a Caesar salad..which was excellent , very light! Waitress brought us the creme Brule on the house due to an issue with the complimentary dinner rolls (butter wrapper cooked into roll, realized while chewing a bite) the creme Brule was done very well. Maybe some new restaurant bumps?? We may only be back for cocktails by the outside fire pit...but then again when we got our bill we were charged 75 cents for a lime for my drink, lol...once again pretentious? Overall $170 for dinner...maybe we will just drive to atlanta.

Location is stunning. However, I find myself underwhelmed. From the get-go, I felt judged simply on myself and boyfriend’s appearance. The staff seemed like we weren’t the clientele they wanted. We both have worked for a number of years in restaurants (both front and back of house). The server assistant who did the initial greet only knew of the wine list(I was already trying to select a wine from the list the hostess provided). Then stated to my boyfriend that the waitress would know more about the drafts. He didn’t want draft(he likes scotch). The server also was limited on bar knowledge as well. We were served very dry and almost flavorless bread as a starter with ice cold butter. The popcorn was ok, just needed the seasoning more evenly distributed. Ordered two small plates. Took around 45 minutes to receive. The mussels were good, I could’ve used a bit more sauce and definitely more bread for dipping as the sauce was tasty. The duck was very disappointing. Way over cooked. Mid-well at best, if not well done. The sauces with it were very nice. The server did acknowledge the duck was over cooked and removed it from the bill. Overall disappointed, as we frequent downtown Abingdon and we’re hoping for a new restaurant to have a nice drink and appetizers. I will stick with the Tavern.

Wonderful food, atmosphere, and fantastic wine selection.

Gorgeous atmosphere. A wine list filled with old world charm. Something delicious for everyone on the menu. A wonderful spot in Abingdon to take in the sunset and share a drink with friends.

Amazing atmosphere, service, and cocktails!

Wonderful atmosphere. The cellar is cozy and intimate and the rooftop is fun and energetic. The food was delicious as well.

Amazing space, ambiance and hospitality! A wine list straight out of NYC at ridiculously reasonable prices. The food is amazing, especially the Beet Carpaccio! Make your reservations NOW!

Greatly enjoyed our rooftop dinner. It felt like we had left Abingdon to some other wonderful destination. Food and service were great! Highly recommend. We will be back often

Absolutely beautiful place, enchanting atmosphere, world class wines! Made 3 visits to the rooftop, received excellent wine advice to match my personal preferences. Was hoping for more upscale dining, too bad the menu does not fit the venue.
