Nice rooftop dining. Food is good quality and has the potential to be better. The hitch is that there is some distance between the kitchen and the table, if the food arrives promptly and perfectly all is good. If your food needs tweaking, like cool fish, you may not get it back until the rest of the table is done eating. Also, need to be sure to get everything you need upfront, i.e. salt, pepper, lemon, water, etc. It seems to take longer periods to retrieve these. I will definitely go back, but taking these thoughts into account when ordering and dining.

Absolutely the BEST sea bass of my life at Summers Rooftop this evening! We just spent 3 weeks on Hilton Head Island and consumed a lot of seafood and our meal at Summers topped everything we had on HHI! My only regret is that i didn’t take a photo of the beautiful presentation to share with you. The ambiance on the rooftop is lovely and Stephen, our waiter was wonderful and very attentive. Excellent all around !

I just loved spending time upstairs with barmaid Kyla while my parents and I had a night out❤️ I enjoyed a scrumptious serving of their deep fried olives GOODNESS what a time my taste buds had!! I will certainly visit again and recommend your restaurant.

Very tasty food. Dined on roof, where tables were spaced close to accommodate more guests, which left the dining room feeling rather crowded. Lengthy waits between courses the night we dined.

The food was great in the cellar. The fried green tomatoes were very good. The French Onion soup with brisket was very tasty. The kids liked the brick oven pizza. The New York strip was cooked properly. The sauce was excellent. The bacon fat french fries were very good. The food is expensive.

You may not realize it, but this is where you’ll find the best pizza, best steak, best burger, best atmosphere and best drinks in all of abingdon.
Whether you’re in the cellar or up on the roof, the food, service and atmosphere is the best the area has to offer!

Stoped in for drinks and an appetizer. We are local and have eaten here several times. The food has never been great, but they have always made a KILLER old fashioned. Service was great, atmosphere is great.... BUT ultimately the food determines the score. A crab cake generally has crab in it. This was crab flavored cornmeal. We ate it. Look at the pics and try to see crab in it. I do not necessarily blame the chef, as it is common for chefs to be constrained in their budget by ownership. Regardless, we will be back for drinks and Creme Brulee.
