We contacted this firm for representation and a typical cost estimate for a case like ours. They asked for a $4000 plus another $2000 retainer. After 2 months of wasting our time they came up with an astronomical cost estimate and hourly rates to take our case. Since we couldn’t afford their services we asked them to refund our money. They said they will and when we received the check it was only for $1800. They deducted $4200 of our retainer without any explanation. What they did was very immoral and unprofessional . They deducted $4200 for just telling us how much they will charge us to take our case. They never told us they will charge $4200 just for giving us a cost estimate. Any Lawfirm knows how much a typical case would cost. It should not take 2 months and a charge of $4200!!!

I had the privilege of being represented and working with this legal firm the last 657+ days,93 weeks, and 15,778 hours. At the conclusion of the mediation session the thought of a ending relationship with Attorney's Samantha, Zach, and Clay Hodges would be over, along with Heidi,Rita, and other unamed legal representatives. Well Spiggle was able to bring them into reality of a changing world for the betterment of humanity. I was happy and relieved the day Spiggle charged both companies and the entire process for me was constant prayer and providing them information, dates,times,events. Although the attorneys did not experience what I went through, they did a excellent job of articulating the legal language of the case. It was a learning process for me that required patience and trust. I can't thank Spiggle Law & Clay Hodges enough. I'm grateful for other firms saying "no" to me in the process because many of them did not have the legal staff and resources for such a case. "Spiggle Law Firm" & "Harris Sarratt & Hodges" have the legal experience, intelligence and care for their clients.The email communication response, billing process are excellent. As a client,do your job, and I can promise you the firms mentioned above will do their. I have nothing but love and respect for them....

I had a highly unpleasant experience at SPIGGLE. They assigned me an attorney with a rate of $675/hr, who just passed the bar 6 months ago. All of their rates are 30-40% above fair market value. Since then I found a former SPIGGLE attorney at another firm with 10-15 years experience for ~$300 less an hour. The SPIGGLE business manager was very abusive to me for accidentally missing an appt that I subsequently expected to pay for, it also occurred after raising concerns about their exorbitant rates and expressing interest in switching to an experienced attorney. The business manager canceled my contract and handled it in an extremely uncivil and abrupt manner. When I called back to speak with the her to better understand why my contract was cancelled, she refused to take my call. When I called a 2nd time to inquire about a simple administrative detail, I received a message that the phone number was no longer in service. I believe she blocked my calls to Spiggle to avoid the situation. We never had a verbal conversation, only email. I was cordial and objective with her and every staff member in all of my interactions and they were to me until I raised a concern about attorney rates and experience. After driving to SPIGGLE’s office in Alexandria, I let the receptionist know in a calm and objective manner that I could not get through their phone lines. She confirmed the phone system was working and called the business manager for me. The business manager passed on an aggressive message via the receptionist that I must leave the premises or they would call the police. Before immediately leaving, I asked the receptionist to please vouch for my behavior because I could not trust this women and how she might justify her uncivil words and behavior. Over the course of my 20 year professional career, all of my employers have communicated with more civility than this senior level SPIGGLE employee did with me. I’ve also worked closely with 2-3 top DC metro lawyers for a $250K divorce and custody battle and was always treated with dignity and respect. SPIGGLE is just another American travesty—exploiting people for $$$, similar to the Corporate employers we hire them to protect us from the violation of our U.S. legal rights.

Thanks to the Spiggle Law team. Our conversation on April 21st, 2024, provided me with clarity, understanding, and guidance for all of the questions that lingered within my spirit and caused restlessness. I'm now comfortable with whatever actions I may or may not pursue in the future. Your professional feedback provided me with clear pros & cons, and probabilities with proceeding forward with representation. From our very first conversation your team explained the complete process in detail. I received videos and literature that helped prep myself for understanding of legal terms and processes which enabled our counseling sessions to go smoothly. Your team was clear and concise about the fees. I really appreciate the fact that there were no hidden or small print fees that magically appeared. You guys were spot on. That’s extremely rare these days. I can honestly say that I will refer and seek your services again in the future if ever in need.

I am revising my review. Horrific customer service. Three weeks after my initial poor review of their intake process I received a call from their Director of Customer Relations. He apologized and said they will address my concerns to improve their process. To mitigate damage control he said they will move forward to see if I have a case once I revised my review with a better rating afterwhich they will provide a link for me to upload supporting documents to review. That was two weeks ago. I checked my junk mail and called their office last week to get an update and asked what became of the link. No response from them by telephone, text or email.

I cannot begin to describe how thankful I am to have found this law firm. Fransico and his whole entire team made this horrible situation I was thrown into so much better. They take the time to get to know you and your situation. You are not just a cash grab for them. They truly care and their work and commitment to you shows. Great law firm - they were able to help me find a mutually-beneficial resolution with my former employer (within less than 1 month). Would definitely recommend them for any potential employer discrimination cases.

This is A. Tobin writing a revised review from the one I posted 2 days ago. I received an email and phone call from Emily V yesterday apologizing for the overlook on my case. She explained that there must have been an error in the system that prevented my case from moving forward. After sending an email and posting the review, I was immediately contacted and I very much appreciate this. I understand that technology sometimes has problems, so I am glad I reached out. Emily and I talked about my case, discussed a few follow-up questions and she promised that my case would be forwarded to the contingency lawyers with a response coming soon. She was honest with me that my case was a longshot, and I fully understand this, but she did say an answer either way would come either today or early next week. That's really all I wanted, was knowing if my case had any merit. I appreciate Emily working on her birthday and well into the evening when we spoke. I appreciate the Spiggle Law Firm getting back to me quickly and taking the reviews posted seriously.

Unfortunately, the law firm never contacted me regarding my case. I had a consultation call on 04 Dec 2023, with Ms. Kunene that went very well. I was asked to submit documents which I promptly did, then crickets. As of 06 March 2024, no one has reached out to give me an update. I called the firm in January and the receptionist had a very hard time finding my file. Eventually, she found it and said my case was still being discussed and should have an answer soon. It's March, no answer. I finally emailed today just asking why I was never contacted. I understand lawyers are very busy and especially in the DC area have many cases, but if someone reaches out for assistance, responding to them in a timely manner doesn't seem unreasonable to me.

Tom Spiggle is a great advocate and provided terrific advice in a tricky situation I faced recently. Can’t recommend him enough!
