We found ourselves dealing with a serious issue with our child doing something very stupid. Kids make mistakes and do dumb things. Just as ours was getting ready to head off to college - the kid did what kids do and got caught. Serious offense and the potential to really ruin the rest of his/her life let alone lose everything in college. Chris made my child feel better, let him/her know the gravity of the situation. My child did community service ahead of court and Chris saved my child's future. I can't say enough about how he took a really serious issue and lead able to give my child a fresh start after a really dumb move, my child can now move on with life. So thankful for all of Chris's hard work!

Chris took my case after looking him up online and taking a chance. He was with me every step of the way and being a first time offender and out of state I had no idea what to expect. Chris worked with the prosecution to have me put on probation and no guilt on my part. Had him as an appellate attorney. He put very little effort into my case. I caught him in multiple lies. Didn't listen to the facts of my case. And came up with a frivolous argument. Upon noticing he has the facts of my case wrong he became angry. Cursed me and told me "if you don't like it, do it yourself".

I am going to begin by stating the facts first. I was facing serious DWI charges from the US Attorney's office after my arrest on GW Parkway (federal). I was clocked doing 106 in a 55, blew a .14 BAC, and rear ended a Park Police cruiser. As I was frantic and shopped around for lawyers the next week each and every one of them tried to put the fear of God in me by telling me the Federal Court system is the worst and that they would have to charge an arm and leg to get things done for me. Chris was different. He immediately told me that I was better off that it happened on a federal highway. He put me at ease, but was honest at the same time. He was truly concerned from the very beginning of my welfare in being able to get through this with my head intact. he told me that while he worked with the prosecution he wanted me to get counseling so I could get through my day to day. When it came time to negotiate with the prosecution Chris was relentless. He went back and forth fighting for me to keep my job and my livelihood. Where the prosecution was seeking almost a month in jail Chris got it down to 10days served only on weekends (of my choosing) with driving privileges intact for me to go to and from work and my meetings. Even allowing for me to go on business trips if necessary. In all honesty if you are facing a DWI/DUI or reckless don't think twice and just call Chris. You will never have to second guess yourself in wondering "what could have been" he will get you the best results no questions asked.

I was charged with simple possession of marijuana up to an ounce. As a first time offender I was facing a likely proposition 251 sentence where I would be placed on probation, lose my driving privileges, pay a hefty fine, etc. Basically a 6 month long headache. Chris worked his magic and somehow managed to reduce the charge to paraphernalia. No probation, no suspended license, and a minimal fine. I looked around Alexandria for a lawyer and had found several who came up with hair-brain ideas to save my ass from the charge. Chris shot it straight with me...no gimmicks. And ultimately, he saved my ass without requesting that I rat people out, enter rehab, or any of the other myriad options other lawyers had proposed to me. Chris is worth every penny. And his services come free of judgmental lectures! Big bonus. Hopefully I won't need counsel again...but should I--I keep his card in my wallet just in case. Stop looking and start hiring.

My Son's situation was very complicated both in terms of changes in his health and a horrible driving record which would motivate any judge to impose severe punishment which did indeed happened when he was represented by a different lawyer. On my son's appeal, Mr. Amosch successfully introduced my son's significant health related factors in mitigation of his offenses. As a result of Mr. Amolsch representing my son during his appeal, my son incurred no jail time for his reckless driving offenses (he was sentenced to 6 months in jail while being represented by his former attorney).

Mr. Amolsch was very thorough in his examination of my case. He took a chance at resolving other issues that would've made us go to court an additional time, however, Mr. Amolsch was able to get it done in one session. I never worried when Mr. Amolsch was defending me. He went in to fight like a tiger, you could see in his eye that it was gameday. Mr. Amolsch is professional, he knows the system and you definitely want him on your side.

Chris Amolsch has definitely been a lifesaver. He is versed in both the state and federal system which makes him very versatile and allowed him to dance between my several issues without the need for me to retain counsel to handle the issues in my other case.
