Unpersonal & arrogant. We had to pay an an other attorney because he didn't do anything, he had a terrible attitude.

I had a criminal case in Fairfax court and i lost my first trial . I appealed that and i hired My Haywood . i really had no hope to win the court but my Haywood changed the game for me. He is so smart and professional . I still can not believe i got rid of criminal record.

i got a possession charge and i spent hours looking through lawyers to find the perfect one to handle my case. between work and school i couldn't afford to lose my license so finding Brad on Avvo was a blessing. when we went to court he got me off with a really great deal in my favor. i honestly did not think it would've been possible to get that kind of deal with the court but with all his negotiation and hard work he made it happen. i'm definitely going to recommend him to anyone that needs a lawyer. i'd give him more than just 5 stars if i could

Brad was very attentive to my emails and phone calls. He is very professional in the courtroom and with opposing counsel. I would highly recommend him to hire as your attorney if you are in trouble. My case was dismissed even before it went to trial. You would be in good hands with Bradley Haywood and his firm.

He was able to get my case handled essentially out of court based on experience and relationships in Alexandria. Knowledgeable, and was attentive to my calls and emails. Very appreciative of how swiftly he handled my case. It was a bogus simple assault.

Some months ago, my son was arrested and charged with two counts of felony. It was a weekend, and my wife and I had absolutely no idea what to do. We had never been in a situation like this! A friend (whose husband is a retired lawyer) gave us the names of several attorneys; I received a call back from one of the partners in Mr. Haywood's law firm almost immediately. My wife and I met with Brad soon after, and he also visited my son in jail. He guided us through the arraignment, bond motion, and several pre-trial hearings. He was calm, patient, and exceedingly helpful throughout the ordeal. In the end (it didn't go to trial), the felony charges were reduced to misdemeanors, and what might have been a lengthy incarceration ended up as minimal jail time and community service hours. If anyone asks me to recommend a lawyer to them, Brad's name is at the top of the list.

We hired Brad Haywood on two occasions in support of a teenage family member who had some tricky legal challenges. We're so grateful for Brad's work and support during a difficult time. Brad came to us on the recommendation of a friend of ours who is an attorney -- and he earned our full confidence. Expert advice, anticipated issues, responsive, calm, steady and reassuring. It was clear to us that Brad's colleagues and others within the legal community and court system respected him. Perhaps most importantly, Brad earned the confidence of our teenage family member and established a helpful rapport -- something that was not a given. It was a happy ending for our teenager, who is now doing great and has expressed interest in a career in legal services (undoubtedly inspired by Brad). We hope we'll never have occasion to put Brad to work again. But we'd go back to him again in a second if need be.

When I first sought Mr. Haywood's consultation I was most certain there was nothing that could be done to help my case. I had already settled in my mind that I'd be doing my time and simply needed an attorney to muddle through the logistics of the court system. Boy was I wrong! Mr. Haywood gathered information in reference to my case, then confidently and assertively communicated with the prosecutor and my charges were actually dropped! I was literally in shock. Mr. Haywood has been such a blessing to me and my family. He literally saved us from years of heartache and uncertainty.

Bradley Haywood is an excellent lawyer. I had been pulled over illegally by a Fairfax County Police officer one night while hanging out with some friends. The officer was able to recover an illegal object from the vehicle after also searching the vehicle without consent. Bradley worked tireless and extremely hard to prove that this was an illegal stop and seizure. We continued the case multiple times in order to allow Bradley ample time to gather all the facts and proper information to make this case work in my favor. The day of the final trial was absolutely brilliant on Bradley's part. We had to appear and try the case against the arresting officer in front of a judge. Bradley proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that I had been targeted and pulled over illegally by this officer. The judge was so disappointed in the officer and impressed with Bradley's work that he dropped the case entirely! I couldn't have been more grateful for spending the money and working with such a professional and dedicated lawyer. I would absolutely recommend Mr. Haywood to any person with any type of legal situation. He takes the time, and goes the extra mile to ensure the best possible outcome for his clients.

Brad did an excellent job on my case in July 2014. He worked hard to get my case dismissed in Arlington, and was successful! Working with Brad was a pleasure, you can tell that he is knowledgable and respected in in his area of work. If I ever need representation again, I'll be coming back to Brad.
