It is with great pleasure that I write this stellar review for Ms. Medvin for all prospective clients to read. Unfortunately I have a bit of experience with the law and have hired at least 10 defense attorneys without and of Ms. Medvin's attributes. you may be asking yourself as I did "is she worth the additional cost?" Yes, tenfold... The amount of time and money as well as penalty from losing the case if you want elsewhere far outweighs the few extra dollars you pay with this firm. Also that extra money affords you unrivaled responsiveness and actual constitutional law knowledge down to how statutes read and are interpreted by judges. I won't say she will fight tooth and nail for you because she doesn't do that at all. The fact is that she knows more than other attorneys on many levels. I was taken aback I must admit. It is quite impressive the level of respect she commands from the judges and the uneasiness she instills in prosecutors. Ms. Medvin is top notch, A+, 5 star. I contacted Ms. Medvin on a weekend. She wrote me right back and within a couple of days had reviewed my case and begun collecting evidence. In short order, she settled my case on favorable terms. She then walked me through the process of following up to take care of the details needed to fully resolve the matter. Ms. Medvin was extremely knowledgeable regarding how opposing counsel and the judge would view my case; everything happened as she said it would. Also, she helped me with things that were not even within the scope of our representation agreement, simply because she saw I could use the help. For example, she gave me tips about getting safe driving points from the VA DMV, which erased existing points from my driving record. She also quickly cleared up some confusion at the DMV for me that likely would have required months and a lot of my time to try to manage on my own -- if I even could. When I retained Ms. Medvin, at first I thought it seemed like a lot to pay up front. However, that was probably the best money I've spent in my life. She is worth every penny and then some.
