This amazing attorney Damon Colbert was sent to me on a post card from God !!!! When I tell you the courts make me nervous but he assured me to let him do the worrying and fighting. My son was facing 2 charges of peeping in a dwelling and driving on a suspended license. First of all he answered the phone on a holiday July 4th . secondly he went straight to work on my sons case after we retained him . And LAST but not LEAST the outcome was one case was DROPPED and the others DISMISSED !!! Glad to have him by my sons side for his attorney. Let him fight in the courts for you !!!!

100 out of 5 stars! I was facing 20 years minimum for 2 felonies, Mr. Colbert and I took it to trial & I went home with only a misdemeanor and 4 months time served. Highly recommended, he left no stone unturned. Very efficient & observant. Thank you Damon!

Colbert exceeded all expectations with handling my case. He defended an assault and battery charge as self defense and had the case dismissed with prejudice even before I took the stand. He is a sharp lawyer that most importantly has a great ability to read people. He is very experienced and knows the courts and law well. He quickly gathered evidence, disclosure, and communication while maintaining updates with me. If I had any questions or concerns he would be available to discuss the case. I consulted with four other lawyers, of which did not impress me. When I consulted with Colbert he was confident, knowledgeable, and most importantly spoke straight with me. I appreciated his attitude and outlook and knew he was the best option. In regards to that he provided me with a flat fee up front rather than monkeying around with a base retainer plus additional costs accrued after. Just very upfront and straight to the point. It was entertaining to see him manage the prosecution and the other attorney so expertly. He utilized their confusion of a companion case to dismiss the charges. The prosecution and accompanying attorney looked foolish. I was amused and in disbelief as I watched him advise the other side and predicted what they were going to do next. He saw their incompetence and ended the trial quickly and with effect. He attempted to convince the prosecution to drop the case the week before but they just had to drag me to court just to be humiliated in front of the judge by Colbert. Overall Colbert was a pleasure to interact with, competent, and has a sharp sense of reading people. It was truly a pleasure to have him defend me.

Words can not express my gratitude and appreciation of Mr. Colbert. I am a disabled veteran and had an unfortunate situation happen to me where I was arrested and could have been facing more jail time if i was found guilty, so my life was I'm complete shambles especially since I have a security clearance for my job which was in jeopardy of being revoked and also, i have a baby that is due any day now. With my back against the wall, I did like any other person would do, I hit my knees and prayed. The next day I received a flier in the mail and never knew keeping that flier would have been the best decision of my life. Mr. Colbert had sent out a flier and I normally don't read but this time, something told me to read it. I gave Mr Colbert a call and he understood my situation thoroughly. I was sold I wanted him as my lawyer to defend me but he encouraged me to talk to other lawyers and if any of them gave me a better feeling that I had with him go with them no hard feelings. That there shows so much about his character, not only he is understanding but he also want you to go and get other opinions before spending the money on him. I did as he said and none of the other 6 lawyers I talked to gave me the reassurance that my best interest would be met so I called Mr. Colbert and we went from there. He is super knowledgeable of Virginia law, communication skills are top notch but the way he explains and attack your worries are unparalleled. I had the pleasure of Mr Colbert defending me yesterday in court and prior to seeing the judge, I was 100% sure I was going to jail or I was going to take the plea deal that was offered. Mr. Colbert came in with a strategy that put all that to rest and we went from there. When I tell you he is surgical in the courtroom that would be a understatement. The way he presented his case with facts, with law references and even did research to find cases that were similar to mine that ultimately lead to my case being dismissed by the judge. He is truely the Johnnie Cochran of our time and I will recommend him 10 times out of 10 to anyone who are in need of legal representation. If you do have the pleasure of working with Mr Colbert, don't worry but trust the process and you will know and understand that you are in great hands.

Damon took a lot of weight off of my shoulders throughout my defense and is really someone who I recommend if you are serious about your case. It is like going into a battle with an experienced vet, highly recommend.

I hired Mr. Colbert for my case and for the almost 2 years the case was active he did everything in his power to make sure that case went our way. It was an uphill battle the whole way but he was extremely prepared and well versed in the law and how to interpret it which I believe is the reason he was able to get my case dismissed.
