My business partner & I were looking for a business lawyer to help set up our partnership LLC and wanted to hire someone to ensure our company creation was done correctly. Before meeting with Scott, we had gone through two free consultations with other attorneys. The first two attorneys made us feel like we were rushed or did not answer our specific questions in detail. I looked at avvo and saw that Scott had a lot of experience with technology companies and also with patent litigation. Even before meeting Scott for the initial consultation, he was very responsive in email communication with several questions. Because of his responsiveness and willingness to put in time to answer us via email, we decided to meet with Scott for an initial consultation. Having an IT company as a startup, we decided to meet with Scott for an initial consultation. Overall, Scott was very patient and was more than happy to answer all our questions and scenarios for a partnership LLC. He discussed the different pros and cons incorporating in Virginia vs Maryland and also the whether or not we needed to create a foreign entity in our operating states while having a registration in Nevada or Delaware.
