When I heard I was facing charges of conspiracy to distribute more then 500gm, but less then 1 kilo of methamphetamine, I was shocked to hear they were trying to give me 25yrs. Every point counts when your facing federal prosecution and yes I have a criminal background for the state of California. I quickly bailed out and lawyered up. I don't know how to put it in a better way other then saying Jessica was well worth every dollar. After flying back and forth for 4 court dates and one of the most strict judges in VA, a decision was made. The prosecutor came back with 4yrs, Jessica presented her case to the judge and the judge decided on 21 months at 85%. I will only do 1 1/2 yrs. She was an AMAZING attorney!!! She was able to get almost 20 points because she was able to get some of my past convictions dropped of for being almost 10yrs old. She definitely put time and effort into her research on her clients. I never thought that I would be able to get this kind of result. I feel bad for my Co-defendent he did not have a lawyer and his first time ever in trouble, he received a 9yr sentence for the exact same crime as me. If your in a whole lot of trouble, do your self the favor and call her.

In August 2016 I hired Jessica to be my lawyer for a case of conspiracy and distribute over 500 grams of meth but less then 1.5 kilos from the state of California to the state of Virginia. I was looking at being a catagorie 3 affence at the leavel of 223 months practically 20yrs. She was there for me every step of the way.... We were referred to Jessica for assistance with our case through another lawyer. Our case was very complex. My husband had accepted a plea deal that affected his ability to file for immigration relief. From the moment we contacted the office the staff made us feel comfortable with our decision to seek an 2nd opinion. Jessica filed a motion to reconsider to withdrawal my husband's guilty plea due to insufficient advised from our previous lawyer, on the immigration consequences accepting a plea deal. Jessica kept us informed throughout the process and fought endlessly in court for us. Through her hard work we were granted motion to reconsider and my husband's guilty plea was withdrawn. Not only was the plea withdrawn the court allowed my husband to change his plea to not guilty and keep the disposition of the original plea in which charges will eventually be dismissed. I retained Jessica after my first attorney completely botched my trial for a DUI, he didn't present evidence which could have changed the outcome. He also didn't challenge the officer refusing to give me the chemical test. Never the less I decided to appeal my case and I knew going in that it would be unlikely that Jessica could undo the mess my first attorney created at trial. Regardless, Jessica went above and beyond to try and fix things and kept me informed every step of the way. Unfortunately the Judge who convicted me was not interested in seeing the evidence my first attorney should have presented at trial, and denied my motion for a new trial. Lesson learned, be careful who you chose to represent you. I am 100% certain if Jessica would have represented me in this matter initially I would have been found innocent on all counts. Therefore I highly recommend Jessica and would use her again if I found myself needing an attorney in the future.
