Claudia was recommended to me by another attorney (friend) who was familiar with her skills and abilities as a family law attorney. Claudia was retained to modify a custody and child support order previously entered during a very contentious divorce. Claudia was very efficient and was a guardian of my rights as a father. She was always accessible and on the rare occasions that I had to leave a message, Claudia was prompt in returning my calls. Claudia was fair and transparent in the billing process and did not do things that many other lawyers would have done just to generate revenue. Claudia was with me every step of the process and always considered the future consequences of any actions taken. I have and will continue to recommend Claudia.

I was fortunate to find Claudia while looking for lawyers to help me with my complicated custody case. Called and scheduled a meeting with Claudia and from day one, she was fighting for me as though she was fighting for her own child. After an almost 2 year litigation, Claudia made sure I walked away with full custody. She stood by me through Juvenile Court and then through Circuit Court. I am a grateful father and thankful to Claudia for reuniting me with my daughter.

I could not have gone through my divorce proceedings without the stern and deliberate support of Claudia Zucker. She is tough but fair and that's what I needed because I knew what I was about to face. She is realistic and very matter of fact but I learned that it was not a soul sister that I needed but yet a pit bull who was ready to defend me at all cost and without any apologies. I recommend Claudia to anyone who is looking for someone who knows military law because it is vital when you are the service person or going up against one. I will forever be grateful for the tools I learned from my attorney. I walked into her office a timid, naive military spouse and soon to be divorcee and walked out a confident, self aware and respectable woman and mother. This is a suggestion to look for other counsel instead of retaining Ms. Claudia Zucker, an attorney in northern Virginia. In her own words, she is now "too busy to work on your case", so unless you are her primary priority (not determined by her existing caseload, it seems - she readily takes new cases) she doesn't have the bandwidth to help you. You will also know she doesn't have time for you when the opposing attorney sends her an email advising if they don't receive a response in a timely fashion they will file for a court judgment instead of filing the agreement the other party has already signed and forwarded for consideration. She will forward the attorney's email to you 1 month after she receives it. But, she'll neglect to also send the email containing the signed agreement, so you won't be able to take action. She'll suggest you "meet in person" with her, but won't identify a suitable time for an appointment. She will also stop answering your calls, texts, and emails...all the while the opposing party wants to collect legal fees associated for the untimely delay. Strongly suggest you save time, money and frustration and look elsewhere.

I read the review which was very derrogatory about my lawyer, and found it to be completely contrary to my own experience and felt a need to correct a spiteful individual. Ms. Zucker is very responsive, gets back to me within 24 hours of any question or issue or sooner if possible. She constantly monitors her messages and responds promptly. She advised me like she was my mother, stern but appropriate, and caring. She listend to me issues and although she did not always agree with me, she let me know what the issues were and what I needed to do about it, not what I wanted to hear. She is a straight shooter and very knowledgeable and helpful. She is very effective and can help you reach your goals. As she does most of her own work, you don't get double billed for issues like in some lawyer offices. She is able to get things out quickly and respond affectively.

Very poor communication. She doesn't get back with any information or update until client calls or emails (several times). Would never ever hire her again. Very rude on top of it. She was very responsive until it was all paid off. I feel like I'm too small of a case now to follow up on a regular basis even though my case is still open. It is very frustrating to have to call or email her on a weekly basis just to remind her, "Hey, I'm still here waiting on some information on where my status is on my case".
