Ms. Ovando took on my wife's and my custody case without hesitation. This case involved FOUR family generations and numerous family members, all of Cambodian descent. To further complicate matters, three local jurisdictions were involved! In our first session, much to my amazement, Ms. Ovando was able to immediately memorize all of the family names and their standing in the community. She then helped us establish a lengthy timeline of events over the previous years. As we worked along, it became obvious that Ms. Ovando possessed a complete knowledge of the legal framework of child custody. Every question we asked was answered. In fact, we had to ask so few questions as she gave us virtually everything up front that we needed to know. Prior to each court hearing, Ms. Ovando prepped us thoroughly. She put us at ease as we were ready for any and all questions, which gave us great confidence. Notably, she had previously dealt with the Arlington County judges in our case. In the end, all worked out just as she said it would. Due to her efforts, my wife and I are extremely happy. I can say with absolute conviction in my heart that integrity, honesty, knowledge and kindness are amongst Ms. Ovando's greatest attributes. She is an outstanding member of the legal field.
