When I needed a divorce attorney, I found Mr. Lopez by referral from another attorney I had worked with previously. Given the dynamics of my case, I had to lean heavily on this referral and I needed Mr. Lopez to be the best possible advocate and representative I could hope for - he did not disappoint. He was thorough, competent, responsive, and personable. During a very difficult time in my life, Mr. Lopez was instrumental in looking out for my best interests, while also handling everything with sensitivity, tact, and professionalism. He always ensured he was giving me sound advice on every aspect of my case and didn't hesitate to conduct research or consult another trusted attorney. He is well-spoken, an excellent writer, and all-around confident attorney. I always felt as though he was a partner to me, that I could count on him, and give him my complete trust to handle my case. I have already utilized him for a separate child support case and he has handled that case with equal exceptionalism. Mr. Lopez is a shining gem. He helped me in my 6 months protective order continuance. Mr. Lopez has tremendous amount of patience. With my case being so simple yet it got continued for over 6 months, I mean there were times that even I ran out of patience but Mr. Lopez kept it professional and was beyond nice to me and my family at ZERO cost! In July 2017 my twin and I were arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a schedule I/II controlled substance (mushrooms), obstruction of justice, and resisting arrest without force which stemmed from a burnt out tail light. After 4 months of getting the trial extended, my twin and I appeared in court and to our surprise were able to get the charges for the felony possession of mushrooms dropped because they lost their potency and tested negative in the drug testing site. Mr. Lopez was able to get the prosecutor to drop the intent to distribute marijuana to a simple possession charge. Furthermore, he was able to get them to drop the obstruction of justice and resisting arrest charges in exchange for a night in jail and extra community service hours. Mr. Lopez is an excellent attorney and very knowledgeable with VA law, I felt very comfortable and confident that he was going to be able to help me out in my twisted situation and am very pleased that I was correct in trusting him. I highly recommend him to anybody seeking legal console. Thank you Misha for all your hardwork you put in during my case, I hope I didn’t stress you too much the last ,on the of my probation as I was doing everything wrong to jeapordize my freedom but we made it through!
