After receiving a letter from an Attorney stating separation and divorce proceedings were forthcoming I clearly felt in need of legal representation. I went on line calling Livesay & Myers. This was a random choice as I acted impulsively, having no experience with and sought no referrals as to securing an attorney to stand with me. As it turned out I could not have made a better choice had I spent days researching numerous firms. Melannie Dino took me through the entire procedure with great professionalism, knowledge and compassion. Amanda Stone Swart and Donna Fernandez at the Leesburg office were very effective in handling my case. I had a simple divorce but I was treated with excellent service. No case ever goes 100% smoothly but they had great customer service and were very flexible in adjusting to my needs, often going above and beyond to make things work for my wife and myself during turbulent times. Their advice made our divorce 100% easier and way less stress than my friends who have used other divorce lawyers. I'd totally recommend them to anyone looking for help with any family law matters. Just a protip for great service: Even if you have a phone conversation, document everything through email, and make sure you are on top of your case. This reduces mistakes and makes both parties' (lawyer and client) lives easier.

Divorce is never easy, but Ms. Anne Prentice made it more than comfortable for me. She had my best interest at heart and always asked me questions in a manner which I felt safe. She warned me of items that didn't appear right, and went with my decision at the end. I would highly recommend her in any family law matters.

Separation is very difficulty especially when sociality norms is to provide everything to the wife. Thank God I met Melannie Dino, Lawyer from Livesay & Myers who did not discriminate. She displayed a very high skill level and knowledge of law its statute and operation on that level of professionalism. Affordable, helpful, and friendly, especially in difficult circumstances

Everybody knows how difficult a divorce can be. I had a previous lawyer at the beginning of mine that was not very considerate. I did not continue with that person. When I had to amend my separation agreement, I made an appointment with Jonathan. Jonathan was direct and had the ability to keep the conversation going in the direction it needed to go; after all, time is money, especially in a divorce lawyer situation. Due to being impressed by our first visit for the separation agreement, I decided to keep Jonathan as my divorce lawyer. The rates are competitive and the whole office is great. I would highly recommend!!
