Many expect to receive padded bills from attorney representation. I experienced this with this attorney after my action was completed. There is a meeting listed on bill that never took place to my recollection. The amount held in trust was not refunded as he told me. Additionally, there is itemization down to "processing and email...file and print for client's file." You will hire 1 attorney and actually you'll hire at least 2. You meet with the lead and then next meeting a 2nd attorney is brought in for additional fee. They will want you to continue paying the 1st attorney because he is one of the PC's owners and "must review another licensed attorney's work." Once the #2 attorney is onboard, don't expect to be talking to Kyle outside of emails and phone messages.

Having never had to hire a lawyer before I wasn't quite sure what to expect. At the very least I was hopeful that whomever I hired would be knowledgeable about the law. In addition to that I was also hoping that I would find someone that I liked. Personally liked. Going through a divorce requires that you are going to have to share details about your life that in some cases a lot of people wouldn't even be comfortable sharing with close friends. Much less an attorney that you barely even know. What I found in Kyle was so much more. From the very first time I sat down to talk with him I immediately felt comfortable. No only did he have an obvious deep knowledge of the law but he was also very sympathetic of what it was personally that I was going through which made him very easy to talk to and to open up to about all that had gone on in my marriage. In my case that was quite a lot. I worked with Kyle for around 3 years from the first we spoke. During that time I don't even remember once where he didn't get back to me in what I would consider to be a timely fashion. There was once that MAYBE could have stepped outside the bounds of timely but even then I got an email apologizing for not getting to me sooner and an explanation as to why. Any time I had questions about the law he was able to explain it to me in a way that even I could understand. At NO time during my divorce did I ever feel uniformed. Not once. My favorite quality about Kyle? Not only is he an excellent lawyer he is also a good man. I believe he genuinely cared about me and what I was going through and wanted to help. It never felt like he was just "collecting a paycheck". I believe he loves what he does because he has a deep respect and profound love of the law but also because he enjoys helping people. If after reading this you would still be in doubt about hiring him I'll leave you with this. My ex-wife had a friend who was going through a divorce and she called me to get Kyle's info because she wanted to refer her friend to him. Trust me when I tell you that you won't be disappointed in the representation you receive if you choose to work with him.

I turned to Kyle for help and advice on adopting my wife's son. I only expected advice, but the same day I sent the e-mail he replied back letting me know that he would help me. He not only took on my case, but he did it pro bono. He was diligent and thorough in obtaining the information that we needed to draw up the petition. He also respected and valued our privacy and safety while working on the case. He worked hard and even though he had other cases and clients, he was able to put in the petition for adoption in a timely manner. He helped my wife and to make our family legaly "a family." Truly a priceless gift.

During a recent separation I turned to Kyle for help with drawing up a separation agreement. He was patient and thorough in obtaining the information needed to draw up an agreement that protected me and aligned with my beliefs and wishes. He was responsive whenever I contacted him yet gave me the space and time that I needed before finally deciding not to pursue a legal separation. I am happy to say that my husband and I have now reconciled.
