Mr. Slayton made the bankruptcy process a piece of cake! My husband and I have been dreading going through the process, and had talked to a couple different lawyers over the past seven years, and decided not to go through with it, then it came down to we had no choice. We saved some money, and looked through the phone book for a bankruptcy lawyer who was close to us. We found Mr. Slayton, and made an appointment. We had our consult, paid him some money down, and started the process. We could tell just by talking to Mr. Slayton, that he knew his stuff. We were right, he told us to do this, this, and this, we did, and everything just fell into place, like a paint by numbers project. Every aspect of the process was so easy, thanks to Mr. Slayton's knowledge. We just did what he told us to do, even down to going to court, which was the most nerve racking part for us, courts tend to stress us out, just because it is so official, and you don't want to make a mistake. The court process was also a totally stressless experience, thanks to Mr. Slayton! He covered every detail of the process, even down to sending us letters to submit to the three credit reporting agencies, so they could update our credit reports. We met with a couple different lawyers (all recommended by other lawyers) to better understand our options for resolving our financial troubles. With most, it felt like we were an imposition on their time. (admittedly, it was a free consult) We never felt that way during multiple meetings with Marshall. I highly recommend Mr. Slayton if you're facing a bankruptcy. He is very knowledgeable, personable and took his time to answer my questions. He explained everything thoroughly and I knew exactly what and why I was signing every piece of paper when I retained him. He is very efficient and said I would be receiving emails... they were in my email waiting for me when I got home!
